Rodneys Bookstore

Cool shop in Central Square, Cambridge

Review Rating
If you are in the Central Square area, you should check out Rodney's. A fun largish shop that carries books in most categories. Prices decent.

Rodney's Bookstore has been nominated because it specializes in books with more than 45,000 titles. The store features primarily used and discounted new titles. The store has two locations: one in Central Square, Cambridge and another in Brookline. Stores boast several rows of bookshelves packed with unique used books. Rodney's also has many books available for purchase online at their website.

This place is right off the Cental Square T stop. They recently added vintage posters to their bookstore, which are priced quite reasonably. They carry an odd selection of new and old books. Not many places to sit and read, but you can certainly find a few gems.

Rodney's is located in Central Square and is Cambridge's best used book store. When you wander in here don't expect to be able to leave until you have spent a few hours sifting through their carefully organized and categorized mix of rare and academic books. The prices are good although I generally think McIntyre and Moore in Davis has better prices for some kinds of books.
