By far one of the best restaurants around Baton Rouge. (Only a 15 drive from BR) Everything on the menu is wonderful. The service is great. Wonderful wine selection and the drinks Rock! Best seafood platter in Louisiana! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was original! Order the New Orleans barbecue shrimp and grits for appetizer it was superb!

Roberto's River Road Restaurant, located in an 1850s building that once housed the J.J. LaPlace & Sons, Inc. general store 13 miles south of Baton Rouge, offers good ole' southern food including chicken fried steak, fried sweet potato chips, catfish, seafood gumbo, eggplant crab cakes, and chocolate caramel pie. Lunch is served Monday through Friday and dinner is offered Thursday through Saturday.
