I called the toll free number to get clarification on a mutual customer who emailed me about a problem. David answered and hung up on me when I introduced myself. I thought maybe the line dropped. I called back the local number, and before I said a word (assuming here he has caller ID) he said ""If you call me again, I'll kill you."" Yeah, right, you want to buy a car from this guy???

Do not buy a car from this place. When I bought my sons car he did the NYS inspection and said eveything was fine. The next day the check engine light came so I took it back, he said he would take a look at it. The next day he said the car was all set, come pick it up. That evening the light came on again and when I took it back the owner said ""don't worry about it, its just the emissions system"" I asked if it would hurt the car and he said no"". When I asked if it needed to clear to pass inspection next year he said "" what are you worried about, just bring it back here next year for the...

I bought a car from Riggs Auto a month ago, the body looked great. One month later there is a softball sized rust spot in the drivers side door. It was obviously painted over, along with several other spots that are bubbling up. You would have to be a fool to buy a car from David Riggs, be careful, I learned my lesson.
