I went 20 minutes out of my way because of the positive Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. A real hardware store with real people and real solutions. Worth the visit, even just to browse....

This is the way hardware stores used to be before Home Depot and Lowes. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and the store has everything you need. If you need spare keys cut, I have NEVER had a key made here that didn't work when I got it home, unlike Home Depot and Lowe's. Recommend to anybody who asks.

Advice is free and so very helpful at Richards. This store operates the way old fashioned hardware stores did ---they have EVERYTHING and help you figure out how to fix EVERYTHING, too!
