It's "just like being in Italy" at this "cozy" Lincoln Park Italian that's "still one of the best after all these years" thanks to its "delicate", "simply wonderful" fare; service is "helpful" and the "relaxed" atmosphere is "romantic" enough for a date, and while it's not inexpensive, it's still deemed "reasonable" "given the quality"; P.S. when it's "hard to get in" you can try its newer...

Riccardo Trattoria is probably my absolute favorite restaurant in Chicago. The pasta, truffles, mozzarella and squash blossoms are unrivaled. You will NEVER have a meal that is less than spectacular w Riccardo in the kitchen.

Milanese pasta and entrees are brought to life at this Lincoln Park favorite.

We drive in from the suburbs for our favorite Italian restaurant in the city -- we have always enjoyed our appetizers, pasta, veal and of course, desserts! Service is excellent. Small, cozy restaurant. Always make open table reservations ahead of time because it fills up quickly. Enjoy!!

Favorite Italian restaurant in the city -- we have never had a bad dish or bad experience. Excellent service. Small, cozy restaurant - and it gets busy very quickly!

Me and two friends went there to celebrate my birthday during Restaurant Week. They had several amazing food, wine and desert choices at a great price. I had never been there but heard it was a great Italian restaurant and we were not disappointed. It was a beautifully decorated space as well right in Lincoln Park with valet parking too. I would highly recommend Riccardo Trattoria to anyone....

The family that brought us Bice has now opened an eatery featuring more innovative Italian cuisine. Recommended dishes include orecchiette shells and veal ricotta meatloaf. Very crowded during peak hours. -

Riccardo Trattoria is probably my absolute favorite restaurant in Chicago. The pasta, truffles, mozzarella and squash blossoms are unrivaled. You will NEVER have a meal that is less than spectacular w Riccardo in the kitchen.

Know Before You Go: The restaurant charges a $10 corkage fee per bottle.

Parking: Valet is just $7.

Save Money: Skip a la carte items such as spinach or mixed grilled veggies in favor of tasty antipasti like Tuscan-style cold cuts or veal meatballs.

Save Time: Since space is at a premium, reservations are suggested. Even with reservations, waits can run up to 30 minutes.
