Like everyone, I have been looking for great pie since I have been in Colorado. You always hear you gotta try place only to be disappointed. I found Virgilios from city search. It was a 20 minute drive and worth it. Maybe I was very hungry that day, but it was the best pie I have had in Colorado in 5 years. The cheese, pizza sauce and the crust were incredible. Freshly made AMAZING salads, tossed right before my eyes by the captivating Gabriel. The owner, Virgilio, is not too bad himself! They were even excited about the perfect basil leaves to put on top of my Margherita Pizza. Great attention to detail. And the Italian music is a really nice touch. Probably my new favorite place to go.

Want a great pizza? Try Virgilio's. This was undeniably the best pizza I've had since moving to Colorado. The sicilian pizza was a sight to behold, and wait 'til you taste it. There's lots of great food on the menu, pizza, calzones, strombolis, subs, and salads. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great feast. Way to go Virgil...

Virgilio uses high quality ingredients in all of the food that he serves. What separates him from other Pizzeria's is that he uses a brick lined oven, which creates a superior crust that others can't match. His "take and bake" pizza is great, but I suggest that you take the time to eat at the restaurant to taste the difference from it being served right from the brick lined oven. The pizza... more

I moved from NY 10 years ago and have been trying to find some decent pizza and other Italian food in the Denver area. I have yet been able to find any stromboli in Denver until now. Virgilio's has a great stromboli! It takes 30 minutes to cook but the thing is probably 2 feet long!!! It comes with a generous side of Marinara sauce and tastes great. I order take-out at least once a week. ... more
