Clean rooms, comfortable bets and polite service. This is a real nice mid price place to stay. I had a really good night's sleep here and that is rare for me. I do not sleep well in new beds.
There is nothing quite like the Cornhusker Hotel in the Midwest.
I had a pleasant 4 night stay at the Mariott. I had a conference there, thus it was most convienient to stay there. The hotel has an airport shuttle but one has to call it for it to come. I was bit frustrated because I booked my room 2 months in advance and asked for a king size bed, which<...

this hotel was really really fancy but when you got in the rooms you found hair in your sink, they didnt vaccum, they had security there and wouldnt let you walk around, and we found nasty c@!p allover in our beds!!(i think you know what i mean)
Getting back into it since their renovation. The only place to stay in Lincoln
I am currently writing the review for this hotel as I am staying for it at a conference. I honestly have not stayed in a nicer place. My check-in took less than 2 minutes, the help is excellent, and the rooms are very nice and were recently remodeled as the staff told me. The rooms have all of the basics...

Beautiful hotel in downtown Lincoln. Very nice lobby and access to downtown via enclosed walkways.
typical marriott with no surprises

I found the Cornhusker to be a decent value for the price, especially for a hotel in a downtown area. The hotel was chosen for a customer company function and the convention facilities were adequate. I spent some time in the bar on the 2nd floor, and although relatively small, still enjoyable and the staff was friendly. As with many...

We stayed at the Cornhusker during Thanksgiving, 2007. The hotel was billed as a "3.0 star" by Priceline and based on my experience I would rate it a "3.5 star". Rooms were in good repair, quiet, and comfortable. Staff was always friendly and helpful. My grandsons enjoyed the pool which was well maintained. My only gripes were the relative lack...

The last couple of times I've been in Lincoln on business I have stayed at the Embassy Suites. I tried to stay there again this time, and probably would have, but they were booked. So I got a room at the Cornhusker. It's a fairly average hotel. As far as service, extras, it's exactly on par with the Embassy on...

My wife and I spent two nights at the Cornhusker and were quite pleased with all aspects. We stayed on the Concierge floor where we found the lounge to be well above average. Among other things, it served a full hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, and oatmeal as well as a good selection of pastries, cereal, and fruit. The loung...

Great location if you need to be downtown or close to UNL. Have to use a parking garage, which I don't like when I travel alone, down an elevator across a long lobby and up another elevator to your room. Staff and accommodations were great!

Enjoyed my stay at the Cornhusker Marriott. Like it that every room is a non-smoking room. Rooms were clean and I liked the down comforters on the beds.

The hotel is very nice. The only criticism we really had was the small bathroom. Otherwise, it was a great value for our money. For the money we saved it was worth it!

Generally great hotel - parking not convenient since it is a downtown location. Know that the breakfast buffet isn't free. Even if they said it was. Charge was over 12.00 a person.

I held a Bachelorette party for my sister and we ate at the hotel restaurant and I also rented numerous rooms. This was a nice hotel that was close to the bars and downtown night life. The rooms were clean, spacious and allowed for a great experience. I would encourage others to stay at the Cornhusker for football games, evening entertainment, and local Lincoln flair.

This hotel was very clean and very up to date. Everything from the bed linens to the carpet and window treatments. Everything about this hotel was superior, even the pool hours. We had two children ages five and three that were excited they could swim even after our late arrival.

The Cornhusker is a true 4-star hotel conveniently located in downtown Lincoln. Located just blocks away from the Haymarket district, shops and restaurants abound. The hotel itself has luxuriously appointed rooms and the staff are exceptionally accommodating. If business takes me again to the Lincoln area, I would go out of my way to stay at the Cornhusker.

This hotel is nicely situated and beautifully appointed. Our room (with the exception of its location) was very nice, and the restaurant was wonderful.
This is a great place to stay when you visit Lincoln. It's a landmark hotel that has been very well maintained. It's in a perfect location with excellent service.

Hotel lived up to my expectations. My family had a wonderful dinner and spent big dollars at a beautiful mall just 15 minutes away!
There were some billing issues with room service; the lack of efficiency was not appreciated. I again would have to compliment the housekeeping staff, they were efficient and most thorough.
It is very unlikely that I would ever stay at this hotel again.

My favorite hotel in Lincoln. Great location if guest is business traveler or searching for a downtown as opposed to "near a mall" suburb location. Not the best for family outings. If guest likes used books and music, or interesting shops and restaurants, this is a great hotel. Quiet, beautiful, and comfortable.
Very nice hotel with beautiful room. Enjoyed the comfort of the bed with all the pillows & down comforter. So relaxing! Loved the shower head in the shower too. Did not enjoy finding someone else's hair in the towels and on the pillows. Didn't feel it was cleaned as well as a 3 star hotel should be. Had dirty coffee pot & dirty mugs so couldn't enjoy morning coffee. Also, found trash under the...

The Cornhusker Marriott Hotel is a very comfortable hotel attached to a convention center in downtown Lincoln. The price of $12 per day for valet parking with "in and out" privileges seemed quite high. The room itself was quite pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was in need of some repair and update. A grate was falling off the ceiling, and the toilet seat needed to be...

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the employees. We were not happy with the small double beds in the room. They were definitely smaller than a normal double bed. This does not make for good sleeping.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was super clean and the staff was very friendly/helpful. The down comforters and pillows on the beds were awesome. The pool was fine, but there is no hot tub! The valet parking is also a nice feature. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a nice hotel. My only comment would be that our room was not given the complimentary local newspaper that the other rooms were getting.
Large open lobby as pictured on their website. Downtown location near capitol and walking distance of historic Haymarket and university of Nebraska Lincoln campus. Rooms comfortably furnished with enough space. Down comforters on the beds are lightweight and warm.

The Cornhusker is an example of a (series of?) successful upgrade(s) of a solid original design. You can tell that it was built in another era of travel (the spiral staircase to the bar, the vintage "walnut look" 1970s red digit alarm clock), but it is a thoroughly pleasant place to stay. Rooms are large and comfortable (with new "cloud...

The parking is a huge issue. It is recommended if you are going to stay at this hotel don't bring a vehicle. The city owns the only parking around and they charge $6 whether you stay for 1 minute or 6 hours. It's always $6 to leave the garage. The room was an older room one single king size bed with a rotten pull out hide a bed couch. Our boy slept in in it but I wouldn't recommend that to a...
