I've been going to Salon Red since it opened. It is without a doubt the best place in Boston to go and get your hair done. The staff is professional the owners Arthur and Danny are gracious and welcoming. This salon specializes in all grades of hair and hair care and that is definitely a plus! First salon I've tried in Boston since moving here; it was recommended by a friend and I'm very happy with the results. Yojanse gave me just the cut I was looking for and the price was not outrageous (as Newbury is known for expensive everything). Salon Red is trendy and fun but not stuffy like a lot of Newbury spas. I've been searching high and low for a salon I like in Boston and this place is pefect! Salon Red has a very relaxed, chill atmosphere and I LOVE going there! Yoshie is by far the best hair dresser! She treats hair cuts like a modern artist, making sure that her art-work is hip and elegant at the same time. I ALWAYS go to Yoshie at Salon Red @ 350. She is just one of those naturally creative, talented individuals who does magic to your hair. Too much attitude. This salon is VERY unprofesional, pretentious and not worthy of it's location. There is a stylist (arthur?) that works there that I was told is the owner and he looks very unaproachable and unhappy to be there. He is snippy to his staff and just as rude with his clients. Salon Red is probably the worse place to go. It is easy to get an appointment but don't expect them to keep it. Cancelled... no problem... they wait until you get there to tell you. The price is very high for the service and the management and owners are down right rude. I would suggest that you walk right on by Salon Red and be sure not to stop.

I vistited Salon red at 350 and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the ambiance as soon as I walked in. The set up is so cool and hip and more importantly, the hairdresser that worked with me was extremely helpful. I walked out of that salon feeling like a queen. Salon Red @350 is awesome and they will see me there soon!

I used to go to Marc Harris, but now I go here. This is the best salon in Back Bay! The staff is really friendly and Stephen does an awesome job cutting. I've heard that David is the best colorist in Boston also. And it's a great value!
