Pearl Street Grill and Brewery

Big Show poor performance

Review Rating
This place is amazing. Huge great patios so fun to look around. All the money being invested is great, but they are lacking on the food and drink end. They are a brewery and keep building bigger and bigger yet they are letting the food and beer go down the tubes. Every hotel in the area brings people here by the busload to get c@!p food. I hope they start kicking things up a notch on this end.

Visit Pearl Street Grill And Brewery and you`ll get a place that specializes in a diverse menu emphasizing seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost roughly $8 to $12.

With its downtown location not far from Dunn Tire Park , and HSBC Arena , this pub is a favorite spot for sports fans looking for a cold brew and solid pub food. The pub also has its regular customers who come in especially for the homemade micro-brews such as Lake Effect Pale Ale, Trainwreck and Lotus. There's a basement cellar bar area for live music, a 20-table pool area on the second... more

In Short Pearl Street has a massive, high-ceilinged barroom that pulls in sports fans from the nearby ballpark as well as the after-work crowd. Pearl Street's menu incorporates the sudsy stuff into dishes like golden, beer-battered fish and chips. The beer-braised pot roast slices are served with gravy and a heap of buttery smashed potatoes. The Brewer's Burger is a hefty half-pound... more

The spacious interior and molded steel pillars of the Pearl Street Brewery recall a SoHo loft, and yards of exposed belts thread across the ceiling to turn striking vintage fans. Three elevated outdoor patios allow for an enjoyable dining experience during the warmer months. Personality and location (near the baseball stadium and arena) have combined with topnotch micro-brews and a varied menu... more

Pearl Street is a no brainer. The food is great, the building is classic, and the location is unbeatable. Prices are a little high, but fair. Nice beer selection. Can't go wrong here.

Great Beer

The atmosphere is fun and the place is huge. Great for crowds and to go to unwind with some great tasting beer. The service is sometimes good sometimes not so good but the food always leaves something to be desired. Our bruschetta bread was stale and cold for one visit, but the sandwiches are pretty good. Buffet is pretty good to do before the Sabres games but the drinks are a bit expensive.

This place was great, we came up to Buffalo for the Wing Festival, so naturally we tried the wings. Although the hot sauce is Franks Red Hot, the wings were out of this world they were crispy and hot. We ended up returning to the Pearl Street Grill two more times during our visit. The brewery had some of the best beers! This was also the only place to get food and drinks on a Sunday night,... more

Great food and a nice atmosphere. The service is fast and efficient. Garlic mashed potatoes really stick to your ribs, and the soups are great. Nice place before you head to the arena downtown for a game or concert. Nice how the bar and the dining room is separate. The decor is nice. Everything we had to eat was of good quality. They have a microbrew on the premesis. Good food for a... more

You'll crave the wings

Trust me - when you leave Buff, you'll be wanting these wings and their huge draft beer to go with it. The historical building, the flair on the walls from decades past, and the ambiance make this place a trip all in its own. Definitly try it, and if you're not weak at heart or on a pace maker try the suicide hot wings - they're out of this world!

Whenever we need a little extra pick-me-up at work, Pearl St is the place to head. Unless our group is too large (which sometimes it is) we like to sit at the bar & chat it up w/ Beth (the bartender). She friendly, attentive and witty; also she's always "right on" as to which specials are especially good (not that there's ever been a bad lunch brought to us). When the menu choices are... more

I went to Pearl Street on the night of a hockey game for the buffet. The best buffet I have ever had. It only had like chicken wings, roast beef, pizza, and some pasta. But everything was just cooked to perfection. I can prob say that they were some of the best wings I have ever had in my life, seriously. And the place was just packed with great people who where there for the hockey game. I... more

Beer selection is decent and it is one of the few nice places to go in downtown.
Menu is extensive, but typical of a "prew pub." The fish
was awful, stick with the burgers.

The original brewed beer is the real draw here, but the food is
excellent too. Also a great place to hold a party or special event
in the spacious upstairs, or get initimate in the cozy basement
