The Parkview Hotel A Boutique Hotel Located in Downtown Syracuse New York. Chic downtown Syracuse. Those three words just go together don't they? Here are three more words: The Parkview Hotel. Our lobby and sitting area has a great big roaring fireplace large screen televisions and inviting couches. This is contemporary meets art-deco, funky meets comfortable and the end result is a boutique...
The Parkview Hotel is a fully restored building that was renovated as an 83 unit hotel open May 2005. The beautifully appointed guest rooms, public areas, and coffee shop accentuate the extraordinary value of the hotel.
Everything about this hotel was great. The service, the complimentary shuttle, and breakfast. The hotel employees were very nice. Definitely going back in the summer time to get a good view of the beautiful park outside the room window. Wait!?!?!?! There's a pool??? I was unaware of that. Still an awesome hotel.
Easy access, conveniently located in the Syracuse downtown area. Very helpful staff and quiet, clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. Great experience!
Friendly staff made it a pleasure to spend several nights in downtown Syracuse.
Flight delayed for two days so moved to this hotel as cheaper than my original booking-so glad I did ! Very impressed - will plan to stay here on next visit to SU
Daytime staff was fantastic! Late night staff horrible and weird! Room was clean and really nice!
Nice hotel close to Syracuse University. Beds seemed alittle short and some pillows were to hard. Clean room. Heat worked great. Nice bathroom. Quiet hotel. Good choices to pick from at the Market place. Id stay there again.
Everything in this hotel was wonderful. It was clean , staff was friendly , and beds were comfortable . No complaints .
Great overall. We did recommend to the FD that since we had a King Suite, it would Of been nice to have bedside table and lamp on each side. Suite 204 did not, a bit Inconvenient since we are both readers and no overhead light either. Both lights came From desk or bedside table on opposite side. Bar and Grill, great ambience and very Good food, more hors d'oeuvres, dips and pittas, small pizza,...
We have stayed at the Parkview several times over the past 3 years and it has continued to improve. They now serve a hot breakfast that is included in the room rate. Parking is behind the building and convenient. The breakfast area is a bar at night with some munchies available. Lobby also has a fairly large concessions area with snacks, necessities and Wine! Prices were ok. This was the first...
In two words - simple luxury.
Nice location, nice ambiance, clean, good and cozy rooms, nice comfortable mattress. Good service.
All at the right price. I have stayed there several times with my family and I was always well pleased with my stay.
There is no pool, or exercise room, or any of those other peripheral things. Which is just...
Booked three nights here after my usual mariott property was sold out. The service, charming guest rooms and cozy lobby were a nice change of pace in bitterly cold Syracuse. Not many walkable ammenties, but the location is perfect for a trip where you'll be driving to clients in the area. Only downside was the in-room AC/heating--difficult to regulate and...
We were delighted with our stay. It was our first time at the Parkview but we've begun to look at their availability for future significant dates at the University. It is an older hotel, decorated in the era but has all the conveniences you look for. Larger rooms than most, the bathroom has black & white small floor tile yet a double shower head. Clean throughout and the beds were very...
My room was bright and cheery. The bathroom needed to have some counter space.
Very nice hotel. Pleasantly surprised.
Parking was very convenient and plentiful. We have stayed at virtually every Hotel near campus and I would have to say this was the best value, most comfortable place we've stayed. Was like being home.
Very clean room with conveniences. Would definaty stay again.
Booked on line because it seemed the best price for where I wanted to stay geographically. Then when my daughter and I arrived we were ecstatic as it was a 2 minute walk to Syracuse Univ. Drama School and Syracuse Stages where she was auditioning and it was a really nice place!!!! The hotel has been redone very nicely and the staff could not have been nicer. It is GREAT that they have parking...
My husband and I were looking forward to our stay at this hotel based on the reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not as good as others have noted. The first room we were in had a loud bang about every 10 minutes. It sounded like a large chunk of metal fell on another large chunk of metal. We were moved...
Hotel was nice. ... looks old from outside, but was very nice inside. Was overnight stop for us. .... perfect. Will stay again
We stayed at this hotel during our business / weekend getaway. My wife and I just loved it Very nice looking room huge and very comfortable king size bed. All white sheets very clean . Bathroom very clean and oder free. Mini fridge coffee maker flat screen TV ( a little hard to get at the HDMI ports as I...
In our way to Niagara Falls we stay the night of December 30. And the hotel was awesome. Quiet, small but large in details, it looks like a tiny luxury hotel. It have a bar that offers the basic so you can rest of a hard driving day. The lobby have a beautiful fireplace and a little convenience store for...
One of the best North America hotel we ever experienced. Close to many city attractions, walking distance to some particular restaurants. Clean and cozy rooms. Hospitable and friendly personnel, always ready to assist.
reasonable hotel and comfortable room, near Upstate hospital, the house staff are profession
Two night stay during the "Polar Vortex" weekend (temperature outside was -10). Room was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. Bathroom was in great shape. The dual head shower was excellent and the tub drained fast (no standing in 6" of water while taking a shower like most hotels). Staff was nice. Having a lounge at night and breakfast in the morning without having to leave the...
Park View Hotel is easy access off 81. It is warm and cozy colonel style with a morden update. Clean quiet comfortable for a overnight stay or two, the front desk was very accommodating. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise...a lil more than continental. The lobby has a see through fireplace, comfortable!
My wife and I decided last minute to take a trip for an over night stay in Syracuse. On Trip Advisor this hotel got very good reviews. I can say that I totally agree. The staff is duper friendly and helpful. When we arrived in our room I noticed that the heating unit was making a little chirping sound. Now...
We stayed for one night on our way from Boston to Toronto - everything was as advertised - clean, warm (important when it is below freezing outside), and comfortable. The young woman at the front desk was particularly helpful, providing directions to local restaurants and even printing out directions to the nearest gas station. We would stay there again.
couldn't believe how nice the room was!
Hotel staff was very friendly and willing to to whatever they can to give you a great experience there. They took the time to print me maps and directions of everything near by.Great Hotel!
I had never been to Syracuse before, the weather was beyond horrible, and I had some time pressure to get to a business meeting. Nonetheless, once I got to the hotel, it was great. I felt extremely comfortable there and it was very convenient to downtown, including some good restaurants. I slept great too. I would definitely stay there again.
Room was clean, nice staff, breakfast was good, free parking,\n\nIt was our second stay at this hotel. I would go back. The price was reasonable and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. Great choice!
Wifi was finicky, but wired connection option was available. There is a heater in the room so you can control how cold/warm you want it to be. Sometimes, though the sound from the heater can be distracting. Room was super clean and neat. Staying at the hotel, it was convenient to walk to Upstate and Syracuse University (12 min walk) and downtown Syracuse (15 min walk). Not many restaurants...
The bed was excellent and the pillows were even better. If any hotels would like to know how this should be done (Holiday Inn Express, I'm looking at you), I submit the Parkview Hotel as the model.
We selected the Parkview for its proximity to the Carrier Dome, and it is just under a mile walk - very convenient, hard...
Great room s and staff.\n\nThis hotel is older, but the rooms are large and have been recently renovated. The staff is very helpful and they have a limited menu restaurant and bar with light appetizers and bailey is a great bartender who makes all feel welcome.
Location, service, room, breakfast-everything exceeded my expectations.\n\nI loved everything and the staff were very accomodating and great!\n\nOverall, great hotel and best location!
Comfortable bed. They have shutters not blinds on the windows I thought was a real nice touch. Short walks or cab away from places to eat. Cool old style hotel with a nice sized room and retro feel to the bathroom. Not just another cookie cutter chain place.
The room is a nice size, nice bathroom, very clean. The heating/air conditioning is very efficient, the room is peaceful, not cluttered. Bed not so comfortable to me since it's a platform beef with no box spring so I was missing some softness. They were gracious in relocating me on the first night since I'm a light sleeper and i...
Beautifully decorated rooms and common spaces, with a nice view of the city.\n\nTemperature regulation for the room was really weird. To have to run an A/C unit in December because the boiler is set to roast, just kind of weird, and noisy.
The room. It was very clean, modern, and beautiful.\n\nno!\n\nGreat staff, comfortable room, the breakfast was an extra bonus! :)
This hotel is right next to the Crown Plaza and just down from the Theatre in downtown Syracuse. It is a quick 20 min walk from the Carrier Dome. The purpose of our trip was Black Friday and to catch a football game at the dome. We booked through Priceline and got to name our price which worked out to...
My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel, service was great, rooms clean and well appointed. I wish there was an on site restaurant but there was plenty of choices very close by. My one complaint was a strong curry smell that seemed to flow through the hallways. I don't know if some rooms have kitchens but this...
I spent one night at the Parkview Hotel while I was visiting SUNY Upstate. The people are very friendly and will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. It is also very close to the amazing Destiny USA mall. The rooms are very spacious, well-kept, pristine, and eco-friendly. The rooms are well lit as well. The bathroom...
it was fine for the one night we stayed in Syracuse\n\nelevator service was poor
The hotel was charming. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Parking was free and right behind the hotel. The breakfast provided with the room was hearty.
My daughter, husband and I visited Syracuse University and stayed at the Parkview overnight. I found the hotel to be old however, recent rennovations added to the charm and cleanliness of this fine establishment! from start to finish we were overall satisfied with our stay.Location
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Parkview Hotel. We were there to attend a concert at the Carrier Dome which was just a 15 minute walk away. This is the perfect place to stay to attend university events. Also right next to the highway for long distance travelers but we were not even conscious of highway noise. Very satisfying free breakfast in the morning and then we were on our way. The...
My husband & I recently spent one night at the Parkview when we went to Syracuse for a concert. We were so impressed with this hotel! Our room was very spacious and had a kitchenette. It actually felt more like a small apartment! The décor was very nice and the king sized bed was comfortable. My only complaint was that...
Nothing.. location was shady... no restaurants around and not really a 3 star... more like 2 and the pictures on the internet did not tell the story... false marketing\n\nLocation, location, location i would not walk in the area at night for sure...\n\nthe pictures are so much better than the actual hotel.. the reception desk was something out of a movie.. gangster movie... very very very very...
Cute, charming and eco-friendly find in Syracuse. Stopped here while visiting SUNY-ESF. Impressed with the commitment to the environment, however there were no recycling bins in the breakfast area or an option to recycle in the room. Free breakfast was good, having turkey sausage as an option was a plus.
Great hotel. Free self-parking, free wifi, clean rooms, helpful staff, light dinner available in the lounge. Unpretentious but very clean and nice. Very close to downtown Syracuse and to Syracuse University. Rates were great for my stay although I've heard they can be expensive at peak times.
Such a charming small hotel only a few minutes drive from Destiny USA. Quaint bar, plenty of character, great staff. We were able to get small plates of food in the bar which saved us from heading back out to look for restaurant. Only drawback was a strong pledge-like smell in the hallway but not in the rooms. Free wifi,...
Very comfortable room. Nice size, clean and quiet.
I really liked this hotel. It was built in the 20s and has stood the test of time. It has been cared-for over the years and still retains and old-world charm and class, but with all the modern amenities. Tasteful, understated decor make it a comfortable and welcoming accommodation. Clean, comfortable beds, and total quiet make for a restful stay. The location is quite good, a short walk to...
Front desk staff were both courteous and helpful. Room was nicely set-up and felt inviting. Continental breakfast was served warm and kept up with morning traffic. I would have liked a few more items available for breakfast, but it was not a dealbreaker. On a side note, the hotel offered green products and toiletries. Nice touch.
What a charming and quaint boutique hotel. I love the decor and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Beautiful plantation shutters on the windows! I couldn't believe how comfortable the bed was and how quiet the hotel was at night. I look forward to visiting again! My only suggestion for improvement would be to add storage, towel ring or...
I only wish the work out facility was better equipped. great place to stay though
This hotel was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast was an added bonus and was very good as well. I loved the coffee! We were able to walk to the Cathedral for Mass. We even walked (about a mile) to the Empire Brewing Company which was a fantastic. We plan on staying here again next year.
We usually stay in the larger crowne plaza but I prefer small hotels like this one. Staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean, parking was easy in and out. The gym could be better, some cardio machines, nothing else. Free breakfast is a nice touch.
comfortable bed. free wifi. free breakfast (even though it wasn't remarkable)
breakfast wasn't great
Location was good. Rooms were clean and quiet. Comfortable beds.

Two night stay while visiting my daughter at Syracuse University.Very convenient and comfortable.
It was clean and convenient.
Very small room, not pretty as would have expected by rating.
It was clean and convenient.\n\nVery small room, not pretty as would have expected by rating.
Very convenient to Syracuse University. Very clean bathrooms and bedroom. Parking was easy.
While I understand that I'm not guaranteed a king-size bed, that's what I wanted. There were two beds in the room. The beds were a bit small. They must have been full-size, rather than doubles.
I would recommend the hotel to others.

Rooms were very comfortable. Beautiful rooms. Will stay there again on future visits to Syacuse.
This is an older building, carefully, lovingly, perfectly restored. Rooms are attractive and comfortable, beds are great, staff is helpful, lobby bar is attractive, cozy, reasonably-priced. Very good breakfast. We really appreciated mgt.'s genuine commitment to environmental consciousness: paper rather than styrofoam takeout cups for bkfst. coffee. Even moreso, mgt. is to be commended for...
The bed was super comfortable. Modern decor. reasonable rate. Decent breakfast options included.
The homeless @ the water fountain. I wanted to go feed them.
Great place to stay. Pleasant staff.
The hotel is very well located with immediate access to mayor roads. The rooms are nice and clean. In the lobby there is a Market area where you can buy cold and hot snacks and drinks 24h. Very good option for the price.
The hotel has much charm and recently renovated. Lot`s of windows and nice shutters. Only drawback is that windows do not open.
The bed was super comfortable. Modern decor. reasonable rate. Decent breakfast options included.\n\nThe homeless @ the water fountain. I wanted to go feed them.\n\nGreat place to stay. Pleasant staff.
The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was polite. The continental breakfast was appreciated. My only complaint was that we turned on the heat for the first time since last year and it really made the room stink. I guess it had to burn off the dust. We only left it on for approximately 20 seconds and decided to go...
Rooms are large and sunny. Lots of windows (only draw back is they do not open). Newly remodeled. Comfy chair and bed (Pillows are so-so) nice bathroom and some rooms have microwaves and fridge. The little bar off lobby is nice in the evenings, and the breakfast is good if you like carbohydrates:-) I have chosen this as my hotel for extended stays in Syaracuse. Nice parking behind the building...
Rooms were very comfortable. Hotel building is older but it has been completely redone with beautiful furnishing. Will stay there on future visits to the area.
Upon entering the lobby and finally the room itself we were pleasantly surprised and ultimately fully satisfied. Our conference hotel (Sheraton) was fully booked, wife was initially disappointed, but after a short time she was happy that we didn't stay at the other conference hotel.
Well situated in Syracuse and well priced compared to comparable hotels in area.
Every area rated was just right, location, staff, room, food, at the hotel and within walking distance.
I enjoyed staying this hotel for two days. Pretty clean and all the staff were kind to us. And the price was very reasonable. I will definaterly stay there again if I have chance to visit Syracuse in future.
Booked the room late at night after an airline nightmare of travel across the country from San Francisco to Syracuse. Arrived at the Parkview after midnight and was greeted by a horrible front desk clerk who rolled her eyes, huffed and puffed at having to push the security button to open the door. She refused to give us the room we booked commenting negatively every other sentence about "this...
I've Stayed At This Location And Up Until Now Have Been Completely Satisfied, Now Not Certain I Will Return. My Stays Are Business Related And Had To Get Up Early For This Reason. Around 4 Am What Sounded Like A Small Group Of Guests Stumbled In Across The Hall From Me. They Were Continuing Their Partying, Playing Loud Music And Carrying On. I Called The Front Desk, Hotel Personal Came Up To...
It is a wonderful place to stay and if I ever return to Syracuse I would stay there again.
It is a wonderful place to stay and if I ever return to Syracuse I would stay there again.\n\nNo
Beds were to soft for my comfort. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Onsite laundry available. Price was excellent for the quality of services.
They had a severe problem because their computers were down most of the day that we arrived and well into the night. Their internet business and cable TV provider served them poorly with slow repair service and intermittent signal dropout and problems on NBC, making season opener shows that we wanted to watch, unwatchable. As I have experienced (and am still experiencing) problems with the same...
From the time I stepped in the front door, I knew this was the place for me. Any hotel that has chocolate on the counter for your enjoyment is my kind of hotel. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Since this was our first trip to Syracuse we thought we would like to try the dinosaur for dinner. The...
Enjoyed my overnight stay here while attending the SU football game. The room was a suite with an iHome clock radio with iPod dock - very handy for those who forget their chargers. The desk attendant was clearly expecting me; for when I told him my name he was almost already reaching for my reservation card. I needed some pain reliever in the middle of the night and was able to get what I...
The hotel is an older property but well maintained with updated rooms. Very nice and helpful staff. Overall, very comfortable. The only downside is the location is near some sketchy areas. That being said, there are three hotels on the street and at no time did I feel unsafe.
Great place to stay for the price. Walking distance to restaurants etc.
We stayed here on our way back home and I have to say we were very surprised!! It didn't look like much from the outside but this place was wonderful.. The staff was good and the room was excellent!! Huge pillows and big shutters the bathroom was so cool and very clean!! We will be sure to stay next time...
We thought the prices were very reasonable, the location was central to downtown, the room was very clean and had everything we needed. They even had computers with printers so we could print out our tickets to the fair. Our only complaint, if any, was that the hotel bar was already closed by the time we got back both nights we were there.
This is an older hotel that has been remodelled with respect to its history. Near Syracuse U if you are headed there. Great, great breakfast (hot and cold, variety, "quiche of the day" etc. Staff beyond helpful- got me an umbrella for my trip to job interview, commiserated with me post-interview. Doubt you will find a better stay for the reasonable price in Syracuse!
We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our very large room that was decorated in a pretty green and white motif. The windows in the room were plentiful and large with white plantation shutters. The bathroom was cool with a retro look. The bar was nice and the free breakfast was fine. The only reason I didn't...
Everything About The Hotel Was Top Notch Except For The Not So Friendly Nor Energetic Front Desk Receptionist. She Was The Only Negative.
I thought the staff was excellent, and the rooms were very clean and modern. It was only a short trip to the downtown restaurants, and they offered a free and friendly shuttle service.
As first time visitors to Syracuse, my gf and I weren't sure what to expect in terms of hotel location, cost, comfort, and safety/security. Even as we pulled up to the hotel, we remained skeptical given the well-weathered exterior of the building and the remoteness of the location, close to factories and highways and away from any semblance of "downtown...
A 2 night stay over the weekend was comfortable and relaxing. Front desk was a helpful and curtious and anxiuose to meet our needs. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional in the cocktail lounge. In the evening the cocktail lounge was comfortable and quiet. The front desk always had a form of transportation for us waiting out front if we needed without...
We stayed 2 nights in the Parkview Hotel. We were positively surprised, big, clean room ( although we had the impression, that the sheets have not been changed, but after leaving a note the next morning, they were fresh). Breakfast was standard, but they have a nice little shop with a rather big selection. Even a decent washing machine and...
The location in Syracuse is not great, and the neighbourhood seemed a little seedy, but the hotel is well kept, the breakfast was good, and the service was good. Close to the big mall (Destiny USA), but not conveniently located to it.
Good for stopping through during travels
Some dirt / hair elastics in bathroom from prior occupant, and old soaps
Dirty in bathroom, few to no dairy-free options for breakfast other than muffins
It had parking which was included. The breakfast while self serve had three egg dishes, muffins, bagels, ceral, yogurt and all the drink choices too. It also had a free shuttle.
The ice machine was in basement while we were on the 4th floor. Also although you had a pass key, you coulf only enter hotel from front. The parking lot is out back.
Overall I would recommend the Parkview hotel. The...

My friend and I was in syracuse for our NYS boards and stayed here ..the .outside completely mislead me (a very old building) but if was clean beautiful and friendly staff they .even got us a pizza at 1am for a late nite studying munchies and they had a small "store" that was great and the room VERY clean w/...
The front desk staff was very friendly. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were firm. Very clean.
The bathroom was small, no place to put your toiletries. The room layout was odd and the bed was too easy to run in to.
The hotel overall was nice. Very clean. The layout of the room was odd though, a dresser was too close to the bed where you would possible hit your face if you got up too...
Bed was UNBELIEVABLE!!!Bathroom updated. Great shower head
Looked a little run down from back where u park but was lovey boutique style hotel. Easy access to highway. Bed was so incredible.

We chose this hotel based on reviews, as we were only in Syracuse for one night and wanted somewhere central and clean to stay. This was a huge disappointment. The bed was full of hair, blatantly unwashed, and when we went to place something in the bedside drawer it contained condoms and rubbish! The staff were very good about putting...
Room decor was nice. The price was reasonable.\n\nThe bed was uncomfotable. The location was a little scary, we saw several homeless people in front of the hotel, and the parking was not secure.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, we slept awesome. Room was nice. Shower head was awesome. Bathroom had been recently remodeled. Hotel looks a little run down from back of building but hotel was lovely. Free breakfast was decent. Typical hotel breakfast.
Professional, pleasant, appealing\n\nThe hotel met all of our expectations.
Nice, recently remodeled hotel right near the campus and downtown restaurants for a lot less then the other hotels in the area.\n\nNice, recently remodeled hotel right near the campus and downtown restaurants for a lot less then the other hotels in the area.

We really enjoyed the hotel. As all other reviewers have stated, the rooms are large and comfortable. Wonderful crisp white bedsheets. Excellent shower head (double-shower head). The friendliest staff. Shuttle to go to university & to Armoury Square.\n\nNothing was bad about this hotel. Everything excellent!\n\nThis was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I appreciated the small hotel...
Nice big, clean room. Nice clean bathroom, hot shower. Ample free parking.\n\nI have stayed here 3 times, the elevators are agonizingly slow , often.\n\nThis is a good place to stay located near Syracuse University and there is easy access to most of the are highways. No frills, nice rooms.
Close to downtown and its many dining options, and right off the highway.\n\nClean rooms with excellent beds, superb location.
Old school charm. It seemed to be true to it's design and mission. Not needing to be super/ultra modern just a classic hotel. Providing it's guests with comfort and respite form travel.\n\nNo.\n\nSee above.
Very nice boutique hotel not far from downtown Syracuse. It is right down the street from the Crowne Plaza. I had read many reviews so I knew I would be satisfied. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Was impressed with the two headed shower. The staff was very helpful and nice. There is a small buffet in the...
My husband came across this hotel online and I'm glad he did. We visit Syracuse a handful of time per year and we usually stay in one of the chain hotels. I think we purposely avoided downtown because there are some very sketchy areas but we didn't have any issues with the location at all. This summer we were going...
It's a old, restored downtown hotel that has been restored but maintains it's elegant charm. The staff was so accommodating and helpful.\n\nWe loved everything about it.\n\nWe plan to stay here the next time and every time we travel from Maine to PA from now on. We loved the cleanliness, charm and location which is close to good restaurants and entertainment. One of our best experiences at...
The staff -everyone was wonderful and made our experience special. It started at check-in, when the Concierge took time to introduce us to the local area, gave us a list of great restaurants and even printed directions to the ball stadium for us!\n\nThis hotel is a gem- we have zero complaints!\n\nWhat a special hotel! Everyone is super-nice, the place is spotless and they make it a real...
We were passing through Syracuse so only stayed here for one night. The young lady at the front desk was very helpful and patient even through the hotel and general area was a little hectic because kids were being dropped off for school. Was a little nervous about staying here but overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The air...
Old style, with modern upgrades. In downtown, close to a lot of things. Great free parking.\n\nBreakfast could have been a little better, but pretty good for being free.\n\nI would definitely stay here again! Loved this local hotel.
Location, free breakfast, rooms were clean, modern and beautifully decorated. \n\nParking lot did not feel safe walking from car
location & price\n\nnot trusting the housing keeping staff. We accidently left our son's eyeglasses on the nightstand. Noticed this later in the day once we had left. Called back and they were not there. Not in lost and found. No possible way they were not.Very disappointed.\n\nA nice hotel and stay that was ruined by dishonest house keeping staff. The visit costs me a $350 pair of glasses.
It was very clean and free internet.\n\nBreakfast was weak (as expected). The front desk did not have Q-Tips and no top to the ice bucket.\n\nThe hotel was better than I expected. I got a good deal booking the same day online. The hotel was very clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows could have been better quality. All in all, a good value and a nice hotel in Syracuse.
location to Syracuse University and downtown area\n\nNo\n\nExcellent value for the cost of stay. Extremely clean and well appointed furnishings. I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast is ample and a lot of room to sit for the meal.
Clean, Eco Friendly Soaps, Shampoo, very stylish.\n\nWe just needed a place to stay overnight while passing through. We checked in late and left early. didn't have time to check out the town but the hotel was very nice. For the price we paid we were expecting something much less luxurious and we were pleasantly surprised.
Amazing breakfast, comfortable bed, very clean\n\nToo close to highway making it a bit noisey
Beautiful, clean room & friendly helpful staff.\n\nNeighborhood wasn't one that I would feel comfortable walking around at night.\n\nI would absolutely stay there again.
Beautifully maintained\n\nBreakfast was advertised as deluxe and was absolutely not.
Booked this for a Campus Tour Day @ Syracuse University. Clean, bright room. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast, hot and cold with lots of choices. Lovely older building with character, not your "Big Box" hotel. Short drive to SU.
Made a Priceline reservation at a stated price. The hotel is in the Syracuse University area close to exits on Hwys 690 and 81. Lobby has comfortable sitting area. Nicely appointed room (301). King foam top bed with lots of pillows and crisp white sheets, Sparkling clean bathroom with good toiletries and enough room so the door doesn't get in...
Firm with pillow top beds. Plantation shutters in the room.\n\nBathroom sink area doesn't have much space for laying out vanity things.\n\nGreat hotel with helpful staff, good breakfast and tasteful decor in room and public spaces(breakfast area and lobby).
Nice Clean Room.\n\nAside from one of the elevator being busted causing an delay, all eles was fine.\n\nGreat stay, got it for an awesome price, and the coffee was very good too.
I liked that the hotel was clean and spacious.\n\nThe beer prices at the bar were over the top.\n\nThis was a great hotel stay! The women at the front desk, as well as the bartender, were so friendly! Our room was clean and really big! The bed was very comfortable. It was a quiet room as well.
I booked this hotel the night before I needed it on Priceline. I was very pleasantly surprised. From check in until check out everything was great. The ladies at the front desk were kind. The room was HUGE! It was also clean and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was pretty big as well, and had two shower heads...I'm...
This is a great hotel.
Clean, polite staff, great bar/snacks, lovely rooms, good location.
Changed from another hotel to this one and so glad I made this decision!
Good value too....
Lady at the bar (staff) in the evenings was great to chat to!
I really liked the style of this hotel, it still has an old feel, right down to the elevators. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, explaining the amenities of the hotel and the offer of the hotel's complimentary car service. There's a snack bar off the lobby that also offers wine and beer. We...
The location is fantastic. Easy to get to Destiny USA by car, $9 (with tip) from Dinosaur Ribs, however they do have a car service. When we checked in, the young man at front desk was very friendly and helpful.\n\nThis is an older hotel but it's rooms are nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is great. I would definitely stay again.
Very clean comfortable beds\n\nFree breakfast was very average. Eggs are typically great to get at a free breakfast. But these eggs were horribly salty and not edible. Juice was overly water down.\n\nEnjoyed the hotel stay especially for the priceline price.
We stayed here for a quick one night stay while visiting family. The place is older style but renovated in a simple, but interesting manner. The room (two double beds) is very spacious. We checked in very late and it was convenient to buy a few food items at their snack bar. The breakfast in the morning (complimentary) was above...
Love the Art Deco style of this hotel, they have done a great job preserving the original interior as it looked in 1926 when it was built. Hotel rooms are relatively spacious and similar to any other hotel but cheaper and with added character. I would definitely stay here again ,
I stayed at the Parkview hotel this past Sunday 7-28-13. My wife made my reservation because I was driving all the way from Canada and said she spoke with a female by the name of Shenika who was very friendly and helpful upon my arrival wasn’t too thrilled about the outside appearance looked really creapy. They have an open parking...
The rooms were very clean and renovated. Very welcoming at the front desk and helpful assisting our touring. The shuttle down to the Taste of Syracuse was perfect. Upon returning we enjoyed the small bar area and the crackers and cheese with a glass of wine. Would recommend this hotel to friends. Continental breakfast was great.
while the hotel has been nicely renovated, I had difficulty receiving service. The bedside clock was not displaying the correct time and I was unable to connect to their wifi. When I called the desk, it took another hour and a-half and 2 more phone calls for someone to come and be unable to help me. Finally, someone from maintenance...
Convenient to the freeways and Syracuse University. Liked having the mini fridge in the room. The staff was very helpful and attentive. There are two coin operated washers and dryers that made life a little easier on a long road trip.\n\nThe hotel itself is fine. The area surrounding it is a little sketchy but that has been that way for years and is not the hotels fault. \n\nWe had a...
Location and robert who moved us to another hotel in their chain to accomodate my disability.\n\nthe bed height was too high for disabled wheelchair users.\n\ni stayed at genessee suites. Very nice hotel and very accomodating.
Everything, from the room to the breakfast.\n\nNo\n\nThe hotel was great. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
Very comfortable atmosphere inside and excellent breakfast.
How clean it was. Convenient location. The breakfast included was more than I expected. Would stay there again.\n\nBeds were a little soft for me.\n\nI would stay there again.
The room was very large and the breakfast was good and free. Bartender was friendly and helpful.
But the front desk was very unfriendly. Plus only one of the elevators worked and I had to compete with the housekeeping staff for them.
There are better alternatives in Syracuse.
Front desk staff was nice, rooms were clean and roomy.\n\nI did not like the location. Room service was rude, knocking on our door at 8 in the morning even though checkout time was 12.\n\nWas an overall pleasant experience, especially for the priceline price. Has an awesome sandwich shop just a couple blocks away. A scary area though, lots of homeless, drugged up people hitting my wife and I...
Very nice and elegant retro style hotel. Bed was super comfortable. A nice break from the sterile big chain hotel room. Would definitely stay here again if I was traveling through the area. I only stayed one night so I can't really rate room service but check in was easy and room very clean upon arrival.
It's a great old school hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and free breakfast. Close to downtown with an excellent shuttle......ask for Bruce (from the Cuse) or Mcgoo, both very friendly drivers and can help select restaurants.
After spending four-nights at the Parkview, the phrase "not ready for prime time..." keeps popping into my head. First, the good: The receptionist at check-in was very friendly; the lobby looks very elegant; and the rooms are huge. On the negative side: 1) When I made the reservation, I indicated that there would be three people in the room, but...
We had an enjoyable stay at the Parkview. The room itself was clean, large and welcoming. Large shuttered windows, blocked light while sleeping, but allowed enough in during the day time. The location is walkable to restaurants, and shopping and has a cute park right in front of the hotel. The front desk agents were accommodating to requests and made...
The Parkview was styled, clean and welcoming. Complimentary car service, free WIFI. Breakfast was awesome!\n\nWe had an enjoyable stay at the Parkview. The room itself was clean, large and welcoming. Large shuttered windows, blocked light while sleeping, but allowed enough in during the day time. The location is walkable to restaurants, and shopping and has a cute park right in front of the...
A wonderful hotel, and an extraordinary value. I can't recommend it highly enough!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful giving insight on where to eat and what to see. Downtown, the university and Destiny USA are all about 5 mins away by car! The breakfast buffet was great...the coffee was actually good! We spent the day at Destiny USA and had a great time exploring downtown and walking through the campus. We had a fantastic meal at Alto Cinco and drinks at the bar...
Nice little hidden gem. A very relaxing lobby area. Quiet location despite urban setting.\n\nNeighborhood was OK at best. Didn't have the greatest comfort level venturing outside after dark.\n\nEnjoyed the break at this cozy hotel. The staff was very solid and accomodating. I enjoyed the comforts of the room and common areas. A good night's sleep. I would stay here again.
The room was spacious and very clean\n\nThe key cards would only work once. I went to the desk about 6 times to get the key reset. My first room had not been cleaned so I was moved. The air unit did not work & I was told moving again would not help\n\nI was not asked about my stay at checkout. I will not stay at this hotel again and I will not recommend it to others. I travel monthly for work....
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast.\n\nI liked this hotel. It was perfect. The hotel had character, parking was free, the breakfast was nice.
We had a suite and it was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Really nice bar with excellent food. Very conveinent mini market in the hotel. Would definately stay there again while in Syracuse!
Comfortable place to stay. Enjoy my stay.Nice Hotel.
I was incredibly happy with my stay. I was anticipating one of the "pet" rooms on the first floor because of the online "deal" but I had a great room on one of the upper floors. Quiet and nice- fridge/coffee maker etc. Downtown location is nice. Convemiet parking. Good food close by. Very happy!!!
I was not very impressed. First they did not have my reservations. I proceeded to show them my confirmation and sent it directly the evening. In the morning, they still not have my reservations. Second the bathroom toilet was not very clean. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The TV did not work well. The channel kept cutting out when i was watching shows. NBC especially.Thats it.
A friendly and helpful staff. An old building with a lot of charm that has been remodeled and well kept. Located on a busy street, parking is in the back and gained by an aileyway at buildngs side. Wheel chair entry by back door, locked. Nice little coffee, snack shop on the main floor. Terrible marshmellow treats. Room was clean with newer mini frig, coffee maker, microwave. Bed was very...
It's a good combination of affordability and comfort. Bedroom was large and clean. Beds were good. Staff was friendly. Only downside was I could hear traffic from the street.
Booked an executive king room. Called before booking and was told there would be a pullout couch. Room did not have a couch at all. Needed another bed so they gave us a room with two doubles, which actually was bigger. Only difference from the king executive is a microwave, even verified this with the staff. Staff was great and the location was walking distance from carrier dome and a few great...
Very nice hotel, good location near SUNY. The room was huge and airy
The hotel is very good! I take shuttle bus to downtown, compus..everyday! All the staffs are kind enough!!
Hotel room was Clean, but very old, built in 1926. Elevator was broken, had to walk the stairs. TV selections were very limited, like basic cable. The Cafe was very small & limited selection. No resturants within walking disctance.
Very nice hotel, but location was away from the downtown area which required getting into a car and driving. Serious elevator problems causing us to have to walk up six flights of stairs several times.
I was treated with courtesy by the staff from beginning to the end. We enjoyed our stay and would return based on the price. We still will look for the best deal.
I reserved the hotel online, but when we arrived there, at 1 am, they told us that the room was already gone. But I already paid the room in advance, so I guess they were hoping that we will not show up and gave the room to someone else.So in the middle of the night they send us to a partner hotel and gave us a ok room there. But it was really anoying having to move again so late when one is...
The Parkview is in a very good location only eight blocks or so from Armory Square, an easy fifteen minute walk or a very short drive. Parking is easy in the back of the building, and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely stay again!
We got to the Hotel late and the staff was so nice and helpful. The bed (King) was so so comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. I love the older Hotels with character and this one was great. Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay more than a night but we will definitely go back!
My only complaint was the elevator was not working properly and I had to walk from the 2nd floor to the basement several to retrieve the elevator. I would have been very dissatisfied if I was on the 6th floor!
The hotel was pleasant enough - an older building that must've been renovated somewhat recently 9the last ten years?). The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. My biggest complaint was that the elevator was out for the majority of the time and they put us on the 6th floor. When I checked out (after hauling luggage down six flights of stairs) this issue wasn't addressed at all - I...
Good location, clean ,however, it is hard to park. And has no free wifi.
Room is clean, comfortable & spacious. Hotel has a nice Art Deco charm. Cafe is nice quality. It's location to campus is perfect and it's a great value! Hope it's available for every visit over the next few years.
Good location but the rooms are old. Heater doesn't work properly -- blasts hot then cold no matter what temperature you set. Would probably choose a different hotel next visit.
This hotel is a glorified dorm. While booking for a three week stay, my party was promised use of a communal kitchen that did not exist. We would never have booked had we known. The in-room refrigerators malfunctioned, but when we complained, the staff said they were only intended as "coolers." The first two floors are occupied by Syracuse U students, so don't expect quiet use of the lobby or...
The Parkview was in a great location to the university and the staff was really friendly. The room was big and comfortable. We did have a hard time stabilizing the temperature in the room though...no thermostat.
We were in Syracuse for the surgery of a family member. The hotel was only about a 5 minute walk which saved on parking fees. When there were complications and we had to stay more nights, the front desk made arrangements with a sister hotel for the same price. Our room was wonderful, although the "park view" was of a park that was not being kept up. The cafe off the lobby was wonderful and the...
I had pretty low expectations for a hotel in the semi college town of Syracuse. Like south bend, in, the city is still around because of the school. Location wise, it seemed pretty isolated, but there were a few restaurants not too far away if you were ok walking back after dark (we were not). The room was spacious, but where the hotel really failed was in the details. 1. No shower liner=water...
We were looking for a good rate hotel close to the university and as we needed nothing but a clean, safe room we took a chance. The building is an old property that has been renovated to be a very basic, limited services hotel. The room was clean and neat, but small. Free wi-fi and free parking were a plus. Small coffee shop on first floor makes good coffee. Part of the hotel was being used for...
Nice room; nice staff. Restaurant downstairs is not full service, does not deliver to room, only open till 9pm.
The desk service was friendly and helpful. I ate breakfast in the morning at the cafe adjoining the hotel. The egg sandwich tasted good and was priced reasonably. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a kitchenette with dishes and a range top, as well as a cushioned dining set. I stayed in the executive, king-size bedroom. What I loved most...
Cafe next door had wonderful breakfast. Room and accomodations very comfortable and convenient location.
My daughter had an audition at Syracuse - this was a good location. We had a great visit and enjoyed the hotel and the city.
This is a charming older hotel that is well maintained and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. There is a nice cafe on the street level. This is well located close to the University and downtown Syracuse. This hotel had all I expected and was at good price for the quality.
The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel charming. When I couldn't get in the room when I arrived at 2 a.m. because of a faulty lock, I did have to wake my daughter (who was auditioning the next morning) up to get in. Seems, perhaps, the on-duty staff might have a means for getting into rooms where the battery has failed on the door. I realize they would have put me in a different room,...
It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Convenient to the University, reasonable rates, free parking, comfortable beds, good size rooms. Not fancy, but has a nicer feeling to it than the big hotel/motel chains that dominate the Syracuse area. Room rates don't include breakfast; however the cute coffee shop off the lobby serves great coffee, good light breakfasts and lunches at very reasonable prices. Recommend it.
Hotel was very comfortable and since we went to Syr for SU Musical Theater audition it was great to be just one block from the theater.
Hotel was a great and offered a free shuttle service to Armory Square. Room was very large and had nice decor.
It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/9/SweetHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
When we arrived at the hotel there was convenient parking right behind the building. Although non-descript from the outside, the inside was just beautiful. From the lobby with its 2 flat-screen tv's and multiple computer terminals to the surprisingly large room with 2 double beds, fridge, flat screen and vintage-inspired bathroom my family was very happy with the choice. We were very close to...
Pretty much everything that could go wrong went wrong: - My room was next to the elevator, which was incredibly loud, and went up and down/opened and closed the doors though no one was riding it. I couldn't sleep a wink. - When I asked to change rooms, I was accomodated, but put next to a group of people partying in the next room until late at night. - The air conditioning in BOTH rooms was...
The hotel seems nice. We were awoken at 8:45 a.m. on a Sunday morning by a cleaning person. Worse than that, we woke up to find a bedbug on our comforter that had gorged itself on blood all night. When it was killed, it was filled with the blood of either me or my wife (perhaps both).
I was helpling my daughter move after graduation. I stayed one night an was looking forward to sleep for a couple hours in the morning but was awaked with the sound of the vacuum cleaner in the corridor. But after that the hotel had been renovated and is beautiful, the staff super friendly.
Short drive to University , clean room , fast check-in/checkout.reasonable rate.
The limited food service is excellent and a first class restaurant is available in the hotel next door. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and has ample free parking and a very obliging staff.
The Parkview is a small (6 floors) hotel within healthy walking distance of Syracuse University. It's not a luxury hotel - and is beginning to show its age - but is very comfortable with spacious rooms. There's parking and a charming coffee shop on site, but no other eateries are nearby. The heating mechanism - same as the air conditioning - is noisy, but effective.
I wanted a hotel that was close to Syracuse University but wasn't too expensive and this hotel worked out perfectly. The room was quite big and had a nice flat panel TV. The refrigerator was also handy. I only wish the room had queen size beds instead of full size. There was plenty of room for the bigger beds. I would still stay here again, though.
My daughter was auditioning for the musical theater program at Syracuse Univ. Staying at the Parkview proved to be the perfect location. The Syracuse Stage theater was only a block away. We could walk to the audition as welll as to nearby restaurants (highly recommend Phoebe's). The hotel was lovely and the staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was comfortable and attractive. Beds were...
Hotel was in a great location in Syracuse. Rooms were spacious, clean and new.
The staff here was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean, nice art deco tiles in the bathroom. The best part was the cafe off the lobby. They actually served decent food (nice pastries, veggie sandwiches, salads, specialty coffees) for not outrageous prices and the staff there was also very friendly.[...]it was a lovely place to stay. There's even a vegan cafe two doors away!...
I make it a point to stay at the Parkview Hotel every time I am in Syracuse for business. I really love how clean, and beautiful the rooms are. And for the price it can not be beat. The location is right near the highway and very close to some wonderful restaurants. The in house cafe is also quite good for those who do not want to venture out- but it closes a bit on the early side. I look...
After attending Syracuse University for undergrad, I knew the Parkview existed but I hadn't really heard much about it. I recently visited campus for a weekend and was delighted to find the Parkview advertised for significantly lower rates than then other downtown and campus area hotels. The service was great and the location of the hotel is very convenient (pretty much equal distance between...
Hotel was nice, located a few blocks away from campus. Stayed one night. I would stay there again.
the hotel was older but nice a very warm atmosphere. there is not roomservice but the cafe is nice and accomadating. i bought a bottle of wine they put it on ice for me, bagged the wine glasses so i could take up to room. front desk clerks were all friendly and when i had any needs they were promtly attended to.
this hotel was great. the staff was attentive and friendly, there was a free shuttle that took us downtown, and the rooms were large, modern, and clean.
We were in town for a whirlwind 24 hour visit. The Parkview worked out well. It was close to SU, Armory Square, Eerie Blvd and RT 81.
Very impressed by how clean and new the rooms were. I think they've been remodeled recently. The room was large enough and very roomy in its organization. It's located very close to the highway, which was nice for us since we had to catch a flight the next morning. Even though it's close to a major road, it was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent place to stay.
Great location close to downtown Syracuse and Syracuse University. Spacious rooms with kitchenette updated bathrooms and very quiet. The hotel is Art Deco style throughout, and gives a feel from an era gone by. The coffee shop is excellent.
This was the first time staying here. It was a nice hotel and located just within minutes to the university, which was the purpose of my trip to Syracuse. The staff was polite and helpful during the check in/out process. There is a nice cafe/wine bar convienently located downstairs. The tv was small and the bathroom sink is tucked away in a corner, but its nothing terrible. Parking is in the...
Helpful friendly service. Very nice clean rooms. Comfortable lobby w/ big screen TVs and 2 computers w/ internet access. Nice adjoining cafe that served good simple breakfast food and beverages (cappuccino & etc.) Good safe parking on hotel property. Very nice hotel; I would stay there again.
We discovered this hotel as we were looking for a hotel within walking distance of Syracuse Stage and the Syracuse Drama Department Theatre. This fit the bill. Rooms are comfortable, a good size and quiet. The bathrooms could use more counter space, but that is the least of my worries. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed the hotel each time we have stayed.
Would absolutely stay there again. Very clean. Large rooms. Helpful and courteous staff that was familiar with area to recommend restaurants and provide info. Stefon's, the in house bistro was fantastic. Convenient location. The in room televisions are far too small for the size of the room. Was like watching the world series from the upper deck. But would not deter me from staying there.
The room alone beckoned us to stay in there all day. It was open, comfortable with the largest bathroom. The staff were friendly, competent, timely, accomodating and courteous.
Lovely old small hotel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was spotless with gleaming tiles. The elevator is teensy, as is the flat screen TV mounted high on the wall. The double showerhead was a pleasant surprise. The beds were very comfy, but only doubles; the room was spacious enough for queens, which would make them even more comfy when sharing. Plenty of well-lighted free parking in...
i was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel!!!! The towels and linen were very clean and i enjoyed the comfort of your beautiful king size beds!
We felt the hotel was about the best you could do in Syracuse, where great hotel options don't exactly abound. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. The tv in the room was way too small, and there was no counter space in the bathroom so getting ready was a bit of a challenge. Also, we found it odd that they didn't provide hair conditioner. The hotel is very conveniently located, and...
Walking distance to university and hospital, quiet, clean, wireless in all rooms, great cafe on premises
Wonderful says it all. Wonderful accomodations, staff, etc.
The lady at check inn didnt seem all that nice, but other than that the hotel was really nice. elevators shut down at night so if i had to get anything from the car it was 5 flights of stairs up and down, which wasnt bad for me. finding food was a little difficult, but its all located on rt 5. although the hotel dining was decent.
Guest did not leave a comment.
The hotel is cool, just because it is a updated art deco building. There is parking right out back and access through doors with the hotel keys. The rooms are really nice, and a steal for the price. The neighborhood is alright, close to the University and around a lot of businesses so it becomes a ghost town after 5:00. Very safe though.
Hotel was just ok. Located on the fringes of dowtown, easy to get to Armory Square, Syracuse U., etx. One great thing was free and convenient parking in the rear of the hotel. We were disappointed in some of the cleanliness details.....upon check in, our toilet was dirty (excrement stuck on sides of bowl!), there were numerous stains on one of the bed quilts, along with a large stain on one of...
Everything was spotless and the staff very nice and efficient. Our only problem was that the blanket and linen for the kingsized bed was not kingsized, so they pulled out and exposed the mattress, an unsanitary situation.
Parkview was a suprise for the price. Very friendly staff in a beautiful old bulding restored in great taste. The location is great for downtown stays with easy acsess to the hi-ways.
A fabulous hotel for the money. We felt pampered. The staff was helpful and informative, and the room we stayed in was large and spotlessly clean. The linens truly were all they were cracked up to be, as was the dual shower head in the bathtub. Our overall experience was first-rate.
I was pleasantly surprised. Most "inner city" hotels are run down and in bad neighborhoods. This hotel is very clean and the rooms are well appointed. The lounge area is very comfortable. It's a must stay if you're anywhere near Syracuse.
I stayed at this hotel for the first time and was very impressed with the room for the price. I've stayed at other budget hotels in Syracuse and this is by far the best. Super close to the university and a short ride to bars/clubs. The room was spacious and clean. The television is pathetic but we weren't there to watch the tube. Parking is free. Staff was alright except the night guy who knows...
Very nice rooms for a newly renovated hotel in a downtown area. Great plasma TV mounted on the wall. Bathroom was small but very clean and nicely detailed. I'll stay there again when I visit this area.
This hotel was very difficult to find without a map; East Genessee and West Genessee do not meet up. It was midnight by the time we checked in. They gave us a room on the first floor beside the elevator with a view of the alleyway. It was very noisy all the time. The check-in staff was good, the check-out staff not as much. Also, the hotel staff stood right outside the door to the parking lot,...
...when we booked the room they advertised free breakfast with the room. When we arrived they no longer offered breakfast with the room and would not honor what their add said at the time of booking. I found this very annoying. The hotel was otherwise nice but just the lack of curtesy was very much a put off.
The best shower head ever! This hotel is beautiful with the largest room I've ever seen. The TV is kind of small as well as the sink in the bathroom, with very little room for personal items. Would have used exercise room, but it had cameras! Parking was close, bed was comfy, helpful staff, but we could hear talking in the hallway as well as hollering at 4:20am for 15 minutes. Great room for the...
we really enjoyed staying. We got to Syracuse very late at night and it was a last minute booking. We didn't know what to expect. The rooms were very nice. Love the large, bright bathroom. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Syracuse.
We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Beautifully renovated 1926 hotel. Coffee and wine bar attached was fabulous. Service was very good. We would stay again.
A quick, overnight pitstop but I was pleasantly surprised by the nicely decorated, clean rooms (especially in this price bracket). Very easy to find. No Room Service menu though. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the extra $50 they took from my credit card without telling me. My bank says that I have to wait 2 weeks to get this back. I would've been OK with it... I just wish they'd told me.
A small, very nice and clean hotel conveniently located to the university and downtown.
What a nice hotel. Obviously an old hotel that had been recently renovated, the Parkview had clean rooms and was an actual great value for the money. an in-rrom coffee maker was nice but there was no complimentary breakfast as the ad claimed. Stay there. It's clean.
I was impressed with the hotel. Everything was new and clean. The hotel room was very nice. Large bathroom w/double head showers. Only bad thing is that we did not receive our wake-up call that we asked for.
My daughter and I spent 2 nights here while touring Syracuse University, which is only a short drive away. Parking behind the hotel is ample and well lighted at night. The beds were very comfortable and the room was huge. The flat screen TV could have been bigger, but the room was nicely appointed. The attached restaurant was convenient but had a limited menu. I would recommend this hotel,...
Nice little coffee bar in lobby; Comfortable beds and elegant showers, though pillows could be a bit softer; In room HVAC unit very effective; Very affordable, even for Syracuse (particularly given the decor).
This place is great. I love the staff and the hotel. It is the best location it town. It is easy to find right off I-81. The rooms are clean, new and tasteful. I loved the flat screens. The lobby has this great chill out feel. The guy at the front desk was great. He really went out of his way to take care of us all week. They have a cafe that is open in the morning for a killer cup of coffee...
