This restaurant in the Carew Tower's Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza maintains the elegant, art deco design of the hotel. Look up to see the murals on the 30-foot ceilings. Many of the beautifully presented dishes feature Ohio's bounty, for example, the Lake Erie walleye with a lobster-and-carrot fricassee. On weekend evenings, there's live jazz; on Sunday there's breakfast. AE, D, DC, MC, V.

I am not sure if I would go back as most of our food was very salty. the meals are well thought out but poorly executed from the salt perspective. and I enjoy saltier food. however, my prime rib and my husbands scallops were over the top salty. the crab cake we had for appetizer was average, not a typical crab cake so if one is expecting traditional crag cake, i would not order this one. ... more

The room is like a movie set from the by-gone days of art deco's hey-day. Simply stunning. Food is excellent, but the menu could vary a bit more seasonally. Don't miss the Sunday brunch. I think this is my favorite restaurant (sorry Pigal's and Daveed's). It is a unique place that one does not encounter much these days.

Had an unforgettable stay at the Hilton Netherland Cincinnati. First let's start with the architecturre. This is an early 1900's French Beaux Arts beauty that blew me away from the moment I entered. We booked four rooms through Hotels.com for our family during my daughter's wedding. The first three went smoothly. Checkin was fine, the rooms were nice, and the only quibble was that it took 40 minutes after calling down for the valet to bring our car - which nearly made us late for the rehearsal dinner. The Omni/Hilton is has a central location in downtown Cincinnati. Although it is a bit more pricey than other downtown hotels the rooms are worth it and the staff is excellent. It is one block fromt the convention center and the doorman staff can tell you just about anything you would like to know about the city. Adjacent to the downtown mall.
