I've stayed at this hotel on 4 separate occasions for business. It is the only 5-star hotel in downtown Jax. So, having also stayed at the Hyatt in Jax, I can confirm that this hotel is the nicest downtown. Tried their "romantic getaway" package. This included dinner and breakfast from room service, and the food was quite good. Overall the staff was professional, but not remarkable. The room was nice, but we have found many nicer rooms at this price point. Pool deck seemed a little less groomed than one would expect of the Omni chain.

We had never been to Jacksonville, so did not know much about it. The Omni hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The guest rooms were very well appointed and food in restaurant was wonderful. We would definitely recommend.
