Back in July I went to the bar to meet up with some friends. The bartender was was a young Spanish guy that kept us entertained. He even bought us a few drinks. This is the first hotel bar that has really exceeded my expectations.

Recently for a company conference, I had to go around downtown charlotte to find a "modern" hotel. I checked and visited all I could, and I was very impressed with the Omni!! I think it is the best in charlotte. Clean and New, and right in the middle of everything, great location.

I loved everything. The staff was terrific. I had multiple problems with the key card and the staff was super patient. The room service was outstanding and I loved the little touches, like fresh flowers on the tray every morning. They provided great service.

My husband and I stayed in a Junior Suite at the Omni ~ taking advantage of one of their romance packages. When we arrived in our suite there were lovely chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us. The room was very comfortable. The staff was excellent in helping us make reservations for dinner. I would definately return.

I recently used Priceline to get a 4 star hotel in Charlotte,NC and I was given the Omni. At first glance its an impressive hotel with a connecting mall, that's a plus for visitors. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. The only thing of value is the downtown location. There is a $10/night and $250 deposit for internet access, no vending machines whatsoever and a blah room that is small and disappointing. This was one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in. I was in room 1411, which was the highest floor for that section of the building (as the roof is angled downwards).
