Great old world service with great steaks and excellent service. Very expensive but at least you get your money's worth. They bring samples of the raw steaks table side and you get to examine your steak before you order it. It's a great special occasion place.

I recently took my parents here and found the food to be good, not great. It wasn't disappointing but, nothing I would rave about. The service however, was great. This place has some of the best steak ever. I would say this place is slightly better than Ruths Chris Steak House nearby. It has a similar very lively but elegant atmosphere. The service was great and the steak was absolutely amazing. The seafood was also very well prepared.

What an amazing restaurant with impeccable service and excellent food. I absolutely love this place. I am from Chicago and grew up going to the original Morton's. It was not until recently that I ventured to this Los Angeles location. I was wowed with my meal from start to finish and felt like a member of an elite club while at the restaurant.

This is a place that is worth the money, worth blowing the diet for, worth blowing your budge for, worth whatever it takes. Have a fantastic steak, take a suggestion for a great wine to go with it, don't forget the asparagus hollandaise, and don't skimp on desert (don't forget, you've already blown the diet, so live a little!). Expect to see a celeb or two in this intimate dining room as well.

well, i'm not the biggest steak enthusiast, but i had the chicago style steak, medium rare, and it was the more tender, delicious steak i've ever had. also, get the godiva chocolate cake like everyone else recommended. other than that, the service was great. it gets a little loud inside and it was somewhat hard to find. but all in all, a great experience!

The steak was so good and cooked to perfection, but the dessert definitely made the meal for me. The godiva chocolate cake is to die for!! You have to order it in advance since it takes 20 minutes to make. Delicious!!

Morton's, Palm Desert, is absolutely the worst of the "top ten"..at least in Palm Desert. Their pre-diner order presentation is "canned," boring, and uninspiring. The presentor draws from the cart a piece of something resembling the meat they want to sell and it's wrapped in syran wrap (tacky).

The staff is snooty and the food isn't in the same town with Ruth Chris.

Morton's of Chicago is still the best place for steaks in LA. The beef here is simply unsurpassed in Southern California. The staff is very knowledgeable and the menu presentation is always a treat. The filet is simply wonderful and the cajun ribeye adds some nice variety to the menu. Don't miss out on the amazing Godiva chocolate souffle for desert.

The crowd at Morton's might be a bit older, conservative, and touristy, but this place has the best porterhouse steak. Get it medium rare because their rare is bloody red. And save some room for dessert. Their Godiva chocolate dessert was awesome!

I go nuts for a big dry-aged porterhouse cooked charred medium-rare. Arnie Morton's does it better than most and the cooks always get it right. Start with an order of Shrimp Alexander and add a dish of creamed spinach and you're off to meat-lover's nirvana. I always take my own wine, but the list here is better than most steak houses. I don't eat red meat very often but once in a while i'll crave a nice juicy steak. And Arnie's is one of the places i go. Some people might mistake the service as being unattentive when in fact, they're very careful not to to rush you and try to give you ample time to savor their steaks and drinks.
