This doctor is highly dishonest , at least when he is paid by a Worker's Compensation company to disprove a legitimate claim, as with me. I have filed complaints with the APA and WC QME Enforcement Boards, not the first that have been filed against him. There are other reviews which show this is how he works. His response is that he did not ""see them clinically"" which means if you pay him directly or whatever and he does not consider a WC evaluation ""seeing someone"" as a doctor, where honesty, concern for the patient, and the rest we should expect from any doctor is present. I got Dr Morguelans name from a state panel and chose him because of his affiliation with USC. He was professional, patient and very knowledgeable about psychological issues and workers compensation. He helped me work my way through my injury and back to productive employment. I highly recommend him to any injured worker. GH

I was referred to Dr. Morguelan by my University Clinic. I guess I have been
partying a bit too much and my parents insisted that I see someone. This is
a Cool, very smart Dude and I lucked out. I am relieved, my parents are pleased and my
grades are much much better. I can still enjoy myself, my parents are happy and actually
so am I.

My attorney referred me to Dr. Morguelan for an evaluation and treatment of my anxiety and depression after I was severely injured at work. I was so angry at the workers compensation system for delay after delay of my treatment that I could barely get through the day. Dr. Morguelan helped me find my way back to health. I got Dr. Morguelan’s name from a Qualified Medical Provider Panel issued by the state. I chose him because of his affiliation with USC and was not disappointed. He understands Workers Compensation, the world of work, the plight of workers who are injured and he turned out to be a strong advocate who insured I got proper care and treatment. Choose him from your state panel!

I found my experience with Dr. Morguelan to be very pleasant. I was referred to Dr. Morguelan by another doctor here in Santa Barbara. Dr. Morguelan came highly recommended as having been on both the Faculty at USC Medical Center and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I found Dr. Morguelan to be highly professional, extremely knowledgeable, warm, caring and committed to helping me and my family. We are delighted with our consultation and our ongoing care. We are having a great outcome and I recommend him as a great mental health provider.

Unethical and a disgrace to his noble profession. When I last Dr. Morguelan (April 2010), he made me take the FFD tests (4 hours/ 600+ pgs/ questionnaires) on the waiting room! When I asked to borrow the tapes he recorded of our interview so that I could have them independently transcribed, he refused. Then, when I got his report, I found out he had totally twisted my words - a sort of ""cut-and-paste-mix-and-match"" of comments which totally made me sound like someone I'm not. Dr. Morguelan is an insightful and effective therapist. I first met with him when I was facing work related stress issues. He was able to help me identify the cause and develop an action plan that allowed me to quickly return to work with confidence. I was injured last year on the job and saw the Dr. after receiving a recommendation. I was going through a terrible time with being injured, in and out of hospitals and I desperately needed someone on my side, and I felt that I had that in Dr. Morguelan. Dr. Morguelan was very nice, on-time and professional. He genuinely cared about helping me resolve my issues both physically and mentally. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Morguelan. He was extremely helpful and gave me the confidence to handle a difficult work situation. Although he didn't tell me what to do, he helped me see my options so I could make the correct decision and move forward with my life. He was on time and respected my time. I had an accident where I got severely injured. I soebt a month in the hospital, so I needed some psychological tratment to cope with the loos of my mobility, job, and life in general.
