I urge those people who think badly of Mike Diamond that they should at least give the provider another chance. I am sure this time they will prove themselves and will change your opinion.

I already had the part, a new shower valve, I had the wallboard removed and all the insulation removed, so all they had to do was sweat out the old part and sweat in the new part. Mike Diamond plumbing. Charged $400.00 for about 1 foot of piping (Ybranch) under sink. Took about an hour for the inexperienced technicion to do. (Two days later it leaked water under sink) . After I checked with several other plumbers and a number of plumbing supply businesses I found the real price of a Ybranch) would be much less, some quotes as low as $40.00-

$400 for 30 minutes to re-seat a toilet. Inflated parts charges. When I called to complain the manager said" Oh, he(guy who came out) made a mistake in the price of parts, here's $25 off..." Not an honest business. There are plenty more professional plumbers in the L.A. area with better ethics.

They charged $634 for a $65 part - $75 worth of parts (price at Home Depot) and 2 hours labor and the bill was over $1000. These people are bandits!
