I was looking for a place to relax after a stressful day at work. This surprising place has a great selection of pizza, salads and sandwiches and a better selection of draft beer. Everything was reasonably priced and the service more than professional.

My family and I ate here twice while visiting the town. All of us agreed that the pizza was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was friendly and courteous. Our wait for the food was reasonable, even during lunch time. Relaxed, casual atmosphere.

We visited Mellow Mushroom on the way to many of the area attraction. We had a wonderful lunch outside. The staff was friendly. The placed was clean. The price is a little pricey for the pizza. We did have a wonderful lunch.

Great outdoor seating and good children's menu. When ordering a calzone be prepared for a wait if there is a crowd, but definitely enjoy one or several of the many beers on tap. Service is always handled with a smile, so be sure and tip your server well.

Mellow Mushroom is downtown Chattanooga, and I have to say that they make some wonderful pizza. They can even do whole wheat crust for those who are worried about all the extra carbs or just want to eat a little healthier (if pizza can be healthy). Who cares, cause their pizza is absolutely delicious. The only thing I have to complain about is that their prices seemed a little more expensive...

The Mellow Mushroom is a great place to get some really good pizza. The atmosphere is very lively here and it is usually full of a good mix of families, college kids, and adults. The only drawback to that is that it can get quite noisy. There is ample seating and they have these great booths that will seat 4-5 people on each side, allowing for a decent sized group to have a bit of privacy...
