My wife and I stayed at this property for three nights. We chose this location to be near Coconut Grove which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We stayed in a "bay view" room without a balcony that we thought was well worth the nominal added charge(about $10/day). We stayed on the non-smoking 12th floor with a...

In looking for a property to stay over the Memorial day weekend, we decided to stay a little outside of the beach area and chose Coconut Grove, which we had thought was a little more upscale than it appears to actually be. The hotel staff were very courteous, disposition of our car, and checkin went by smoothly. (If you're easily...

We stayed at the doubletree coconut grove for during a wed and thur night. The hotel Bay view is a great view for floors 8 and up. The weather was spectacular and the coconut grove area was somewhat quiet for the area. The hotel is located on bayshore drive across the street from a upscale grocery store. the rooms were...

My husband and I stayed at the Doubletree Coconut Grove for two nights to attend a wedding in Miami. The location is very good and convenient to most Miami hot spots. The Coconut Grove area seems to be a dying area however and shops were closed and two restaurants indicated they were moving as business had been down. Across the...

We stayed at the Doubletree Coconut Grove for one night before a cruise. The hotel was located directly across the street from a marina and had nice views of the water. We were put in a suite which had plenty of room and nice views. It was a few blocks walk to Coco Walk which had plenty of restaraunt choices....

The hotel was nice and clean, but needs updating. There is only one ice machine in the lobby, and none anywhere else. The valet parking gets expensivef you tip everytime you need your car.It is also too far from the port of miami if you are going on a cruise. And $40.00 for a buffett breakfast that is a comp at every oyher...

This hotel has amazing views of the harbor and the rooms get a nice cross breeze. The service was excellent and the employees were very helpful. It’s a convenient location within easy walking distance of downtown Coconut Point and it’s just across the street from Scotty’s Landing a fun place to eat and drink. Our room was spacious and the...

We stayed at the Doubletree one night pre-cruise in February. Everyone seems to gravitate to the Port Area when they are crusing out of Miami but we wanted to try the Coconut Grove as we had read many nice reviews of this area. Cab from the airport was approx $30 - the hotel's website states it's 7 miles from the...

We ended up getting this hotel through priceline and I definitely feel like we got a great deal! We were just in Miami for a long layover/shopping trip and this fit our needs perfectly. The hotel has an amazingly comfortable bed and everything was extremely clean. This was our first stay in a Doubletree, and we appreciated the cookie and...

Residential area small old hotel that host business travellers. The rooms are decent, hotel is old, restaurant lacking. It's across the street from a gourmet grocery store (Fresh Market), and across from The Chart House Restaurant (high class dining). Breakfast is not good, dinner is decent. Tennis courts - unusual for a hotel. Very poor service, not up to the...

This hotel is OK and in the nice part of Coconut Grove in Miami. The service is the worst I have ever experienced in a Doubletree hotel. The front desk has got no interest in helping and the restaurant staff is SO rude. Never again.
The service was extra friendly and quick. It had great views of the water! It's conveniently located.
This hotel made me feel welcome: I appreciated the extra quick bellboy service. We were addressed by name before identifying ourselves. I don't know how. We received a room upgrade without asking.
They have a friendly staff. I am a frequent traveler who is claustrophobic, so the room felt very tight to me. According to the staff, there was no upgrade available. There's only one ice machine in the entire hotel located in the lobby. There was no hot tub.

I am a member of Hilton Honours and have been going to Hilton brands for years. Doubletree in the grove is located near many locations that I visit for business as well as pleasure. It's not what its made out to be and to get specific is not worth the time. I feel "not what it is made out to be" is self explanatory. In addition, which may help, hotel seems "old" and also did not like the fact of of not having a choice of self park or Valet. It is Valet Only
This is a great boutique hotel(recently renovated) in trendy Coconut Grove. The hotel is perfect for those (like me) who combine pleasure and business travel. "FREE" wireless internet access in all rooms plus the lobby, business center, even the pool area. The rooms are suite style with a sofa-bed which can accomodate an extra visitor. Another great feature is free parking from 12pm-10am...
