Mahogany Grill is one of my favorite places for brunch. Good atmosphere and great service. I highly recommend the eggs benedict. Dinner is good as well, but I feel brunch is their specialty.
Cons
- Sometimes you need to wait for a table, but it's usually not a long wait.
Nothing's going to blow you away at the Mahogany. Most of the stuff tastes like the frozen distributor fare you'd find at most places like the Mahogany, but the staff is top-notch and go out of they're way to make it special.
The Grill is definitely a crossroads on the Commons. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy this vibrant town. From lobster to pork bbq, everything is a hit. Try the sweet potato fries. The bar side is always packed on weekends with college students and the outside seating is perfect on one of those rare sunny days in Ithaca.
