I have been to Maggiano's many times, and have also frequented less talked about Italian restaurants. Although Maggian's food is good, it lacks imagination and verve, and the length of time that it takes to get a table is outrageous!

Good, but . . .

Have been to Maggiano's many times, and the service seems to be uneven. You seem to get more attention with a larger group. Portions are huge, so go for the appetizer or half-orders. The drinks and wine by the bottle are somewhat pricey, so be aware.

INCREDIBLE

Maggiano's is the best! I have never had a better all around experience. The staff is awesome, the food even better, and you get way more than you pay for. By far the best Italian in Denver! Hats off to Little Italy.

We recently took our family to Maggiano's. The family style menu sounded expensive until we saw what you got for your money. The portions were all you can eat. The salads, appetizers, main courses and deserts (that's right, all plural!) were all included for the price. Everything we got was simply delicious. The service was perfect, water/soda glasses were never less than 1/2 full. I highly... more

Lisa the Bostonian bartender is dynamic, and Sue-B-lisious is the most incredible wait person I have met! This woman goes above and beyond. I give them an A for service and and over all experience!

Walking into Maggiano's is like walking across the Ocean and winding up in Italy itself. The restaurant is beautiful, the lighting romantic and even our waiter had soft romantic italian feel. The food itself was slightly better than the average Italian eatery in Denver but what they lacked in Spaghetti Sauce they made up in ambiance. I highly recommend this beautiful establishment to anyone.

Not my first time at this restaurant and I was looking forward to a wonderul evening of Fine Italian embiance and food. ALAS! What a disappointment! So much for reservations! We still had to wait fifteen minutes to be seated...I swear they have added estra tables, so much so you can barely move around! But then that might be a good thing since the chairs were shakey at best and uncomfortable!... more

If you want cheap Italian food, go somewhere else. But, you DO get what you paid for. The place is a sight to behold with a great mood and just enough visual spark to keep kids interested. If you can, order half portions as the full portions are enormous. If you are not a wine-with-dinner person, please reconsider with place as the taste of the fine dishes are enhanced with the proper wine... more

We live in Colorado Springs which is about 45 minutes to an hour from Denver. When ever my wife and I find ourselves in the Denver area, we make it a point to stop in and eat at Maggiano's. It beyond the typical Itialian restaurant. The service and the quality of food is exceptional. Be prepared for a possible wait, the word is out and many flock to eat there. The wait is well worth it.

I've been to Maggiano's 3-4 times over the last couple yrs and it's always been ok, but it's a chain so don't expect anything truly different. It's mid-priced and the portions are large. It is a really good place for larger groups. They have large tables and a lot of room so you don't feel cramped. It would be ok for kids too, it's never seemed an especially quiet type place so you wouldn't... more

Maggiano's is awesome because you get so much value for your dollar. I have never left Maggiano's without at least two or three take out bags of leftovers. The service is excellent. I recently ordered several hundred dollars worth of food, take out, for a party and got rave reviews on it. The Maggiano's Salad, Gnocchi, and cheesecake are among the best items!
