Thought it being a La Quinta that it would be a nice place. Musty smell and older condition of room was only adequate because I was by myself for an event in the area and only needed a place to rest my head. I will not be a repeat customer.
We loved this hotel. It was super clean, quiet, smelled good, and the breakfast was exceptional. My kids all had a great time. The staff is super friendly.
Everything was great except they forgot our wake up call.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They worked hard and probably could have used a little more help there were times when the front desk was unattended due to them having to take care of other issues.
This was not a luxury hotel, but a very nice, clean place to stay. The room was large and comfortable. Lots of dining and shopping very near.
First of all, let me just say that i was totally satisfied with the hotel staff as far as courtesy. they were extremely nice and accommodating.
The rooms were nice and clean and had fee wi-fi which was nice.
However, the walls are EXTREMELY thin, so if you want to literally hear conversations of the people staying next to you, this is the place for you.
the room also smelled like smoke even...
This hotel was very neat and clean. We were not able to take advantage of the Continental Breakfast, so I cannot comment. Our room was on the pool side, and it was a bit noisy at night, but that is not the hotel's fault, it was the obnoxious people in the pool. Otherwise, great stay!
Three of the lights in the rooms didn't work, and the hot water faucet in the shower got stuck, scalding the top of my foot. Not a very pleasant experience at all.
Simple and clean
Not a bad little place to stay for a night or two.
Good location and friendly staff. The structure needs a remodelation ASAP.
good and quiet place to stay. Pool is fantastic, close to lots of places to shop and eat.
Overall the hotel was average I guess. requests for service took a long time even though the hotel was not very full. Also, they had apparently painted part of our bathroom and the blue tape was still up,
Wanted single King bed and got two full. No fridge or microwave as in picture. Very cozy room - could not iron clothes and have wife walk around the room at the same time. Breakfast was so-so.
The toilet didn't work. And the staff did not care.
Service was good, very clean room and continental breakfast was excellent.
All was good except for one of the rooms had the A/C go out in the middle of the night which was very uncomfortable and lost sleep during the changeout. Also the maintenance man did not have any help and one of my crew had to help him.
This was the second time staying at this hotel. Both times the room has been very clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable which you don't always find at hotels within this price range. The hotel has easy access to and from activities and the highway around the Lewisville, TX area. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was nice for the price. The rooms were open to the outside so there was some noise from the freeway, but other than that it wasn't unpleasant. The rooms were very clean - bordering on sterile. I appreciated the free WiFi and the friendly staff.
Dirty walkways, rundown and dated. My daughter and I did not feel comfortable. The deadbolt on our door did not work. I would not stay here again.
Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations. The front desk clerk was very friendly, engaging and helpful.
This did remind me of this old house. They have tried to keep it up, but could use a little more improvements.
The hotel is in a bad area. The rooms were not very nice but they were sufficient. The front desk clerk that checked me in was less than pleasant when I arrived at 5 pm. She acted as though I was inconveniencing her. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend.
The room was as billed - not a 2 or 3 star- hotel. Unfortunately, the reason we payed extra for the 0.5 stars was the convenience of the breakfast in the morning. Because of small space, high-school football teams flowing in and out of the narrow hallway-converted to breakfast-room, and the whole-sale warehouse carb-only selection of the breakfast, we didn't get our money's worth of that part.
...
Staff not as responsive to our needs as I would like. We had a broken coffee maker in our room and it was "Oh well, I don't have one to replace it." Bathrooms are steaming with no fan/ventilation. Somewhat noisy as cars park right at the door. It was in the right location for us.
Had stayed there some time ago, and it has gone down hill since. The breakfast area was not large enough for the size and number of people. We tried to get something other than coffee and there was no room for all the people that were crowded around and waiting in line.
The carpet in our room was filthy, but the rest of the room was fine and had appeared to have been remodeled.
OK hotel for the money. Complimentary Internet and Great Breakfast. Expect soap only (and towels - obviously) in the bathroom. I requested a 'non-smoking' room, which I got. The person in the room next to me smoke and I could smell that odor when he smoke. I was on ground floor and had small bugs crawling on the floor each morning. Otherwise this would be OK for traveling on the 'Cheap'.
This hotel was great for what we used it for. We basically needed a decently priced place to stay while we were in the Dallas area. The pool was nice and the lady who worked the front desk was very nice also. We would stay here again.
Ill be back each time im in town.
Bad service. Shady location. Never going vack
Very dark
Tough to find room
The hotel is in a convenient location right off the freeway with plenty of restaurants nearby. I'm not a big fan of the outdoor room access, but didn't have any trouble with it. It was quiet and the bed was comfy. WiFi works well. Front dest employees were cordial. The only problem I had was my shower the next morning was cold. I was pretty tired though, so maybe I screwed up somehow. But I do...
The hotel was great and exactly where we needed to be.
Good shape, clean, and easy to find.
This La Quinta was just fine for a short stay. The room was clean and spacious. There were 2 phones, wired and wireless internet access, a nice, large bathroom, and lots of chairs. The pillows were very cheap and compressed to nothing, though. Also, I'm a little let down that cheaper competitors have a mini refrigerator and microwave, yet La Quinta does not. There is plenty of space for these...
Everything went very well. The staff has always been nice enough to let me check in early which is a big plus to me. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Will definitely use again.
The hotel was clean, the staff was great, but the hotel residents checking out early were very noisy. It is popular hotel for one-night pass-throughs and a bus of high school/college students were there too. Not the fault of the hotel, but the price you pay for inexpensive stay. I was helping my son move north so it served our budget well.
Clean, inexpensive, and convenient location.
The room was clean, and very quiet, considering it was located near the highway. The staff were very courteous. No complaints
We have stayed here several times in the past 2 years and are pleased every time. Good location and pleasant staff.
very clean location is perfect. most comfortable place to be when u r away from home
Best thing was free breakfast. Room was run down, only lobby seemed to be updated.
Good location and good value
For the price, I thought you receive a little more than you should expect. The room was very clean and a little more spacious than others had stated in their review. I had absolutely no issues from the moment I checked in, until the moment I checked out. I would recommend them. All of your dining needs are right in the vicinity of the hotel. Very convenient for travel to the airport or elsewhere.
will stay there again tomorrow on return flight
Excellent hotel for the price. Service was good. I just had one issue when there was no coffee left on Monday morning at breakfast... The staff fixed that immediately, but it was still not a good start of a Monday.
The room was advertised as a non-smoking room, but it certainly smelled like cigarrettes. The lady was smoking in the room next door, and there were no "No Smoking" signs in our room.
We got there late and there were no rooms to change into, so we had to put up with it. The room didn't smell like an ash tray, but it was bad enough to give us sore throats.
Workers were friendly & professional. From outside, the motel & the surrounding looked kind of old & run-down, but the room was clean & very roomy..... extremely quiet at night.
The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good though limited in selection. The room was quite and not cramped. The hotel is a short drive to many restraurants and stores.
The location\n\nSome of the light fixtures did not work. Neither did the alarm clock.\n\nBed was comfortable. Would have like to have had a refrigerator in the room.
Got there and the 1st room was not clean, 2nd room smelled like a cigar, was put in a handicap room. Third room couldn't get in had to reset card, fourth room was ok. Bad area of town. Continintal breakfast ok.
the staff was really nice and helpful when needed, and the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable\n\nthe only thing I wasn't fond of was that I felt the room could've been a little cleaner, for example, the some of the linen didn't look fresh, and there weren't that many towels.
The Front desk person.\n\nThe hotel was run down, dirty, stains all over the room, possible bed bugs, and smelled.
Good rooms, very good location, very good staff\n\nComforable, very good freeway access, very good staff
Nothing. The worse booking on Priceline ever for me.\n\nThe hotel was located next to a bar that had music pounding the walls until 1am.\n\nOld style entry from the outside. Was over rated by star rating.
The location was very convenient to the highway I was traveling on and close to a mall and several restaurants.\n\nI did not like the looks of the immediate area around it. There is a convenience store next door that had scary looking guys hanging around in the parking lot. It was mostly apartments around it, the IHOP in the parking lot was closed which seemed bad.\n\nThe room was clean and the...
The woman at the front desk was pleasant\n\nThis hotel is old and run down. There is an old out of business food place next door, and nothing else.\n\nWhile the room itself was clean, the hotel was the oldest and worst La Quinta I have ever seen. The location was right next to the highway, not kept up, and just old
I Was A Bit Disappointed In The Room, The Bathroom Toilet Leaked Water, And I Had To Get New Key Cards Twice Because They Kept Deactivating. Also, We Put The Do Not Disturb Sign On The Door At Night So Housekeeping Wouldn't Disturb Us So Early In The Morning, But Once We Took It Off And Went Out, Housekeeping Wouldn't Go Back By To Clean The Room, So I Had To Ask Them To Please Go Back By To Do...
Clean, good for the price.\n\nno fridge and microwave.\n\nIt's a nice motel.good for the price.
Had to wait at the front desk for someone to check me in for almost 15 minutes. There was no soap in the room and when I called to the desk to get some it took another 15 minutes to have someone bring some. Not big things but just annoying.
The room was comfortable and clean, the location was convenient and the staff friendly. Our basic expectations were met!\n\nThe breakfast was fair, the fresh fruit was not fresh and we avoid eating chemicals and would prefer real butter and cream for the coffee. The worst thing was that there was no ventilation in the lobby bathroom, and the bad smell was overwhelming, I gagg\n\nIf you want a...
The free breakfast was a joke. The dinning room was a hallway next to an exit.\n\nIt was close to where I need to be going.
It was clean in the room and it allowed pets.\n\nThe staff never answered the front desk phone and there were loiterers all around the place.\n\nThe room was clean, but the area was sketchy. The staff never answered the phone at the front desk. They did not change the trash at the free breakfast and there was a roach lurking around the food. It was nasty.
The television, and the quickness of the staff.
\n\n
It was a seedy part of town and the pic's on Priceline didn't elude to that fact.
\n\n
Won't be staying there ever again.
clean, friendly staff, convenient location\n\nfirst room had problem with toilet; second room smelled a little like smoke and was loud (by the pool.)
very good hotel, clean, etc
We did not have a good experience at this hotel. When we drove into the parking lot we noticed a lot of people just walking around outside. As we entered the breeze way to our room several people were outside milling around and drinking beer out side on the stairs. About 10:30 pm the noise level was so bad we tried to call the front desk for help but no one would answer the phone. Finally we...
Good for the price. Decent overall stay. Friendly staff. Better Staff than the Texas City one. Noise at night but staff took care of it quickly when reported.
Pet friendly, no pet fee\n\nDid not have a non smoking room avail, but we checked in early. They offered to move us.
From the other reviews I thought we'd have a great experience...however, hotel was right off of 1-35, our room was an adjacent room. (didn't know that when we booked it) It was locked but the people next door were loud. Thankfully they quieted down about 11:30pm. The one upside was the bed was very comfortable. We got a good night sleep...overall I'd skip this hotel...
This a nice clean hotel. Nice breakfast bar. Updated rooms make it nice.
Nothing.\n\nRoom was not clean and had bugs. Room was Not as advertised. Did not have what I paid for.\n\nDon't waste your time or money at this dump!
We were only at the hotel at night, but the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Bonito lugar por el precio es excelente, silencioso, limpio y confortable; El desayuno es muy bueno y la autopista esta muy cerca.
Very nice place, excellet hotel for the price, quiet, clean and very comfortable place. the breakfast was very good and the xpressway is across from the hotel.
It was clean andI got a great priceI my stay was great.\n\nI had a great stay.
No refrigerator or microwave....smelled like cigarettes
Location.\n\nThe breakfast area was too small for the size of the hotel and the number of people staying there.\n\nGood location for me.The breakfast area was not big enough.
The desk clerk came to help me unlock my door and they had cook your own waffles.\n\nIt was old, in a poor location and the TV stations would not stay on the air.\n\nThis was my second and last stay. When I moved to Dallas I stayed, and when I left, I stayed. It didn't get better in the three years, except for the waffles.
Appreciated the friendly staff and the continental breakfast.\n\nThe bathroom - the tub and floors, etc were not clean at all. The towels were cheap.\n\nThis is a good place to stay if you need some place just to sleep and take a shower. I wouldn't want to spend more than a few days here. I was pleased with the staff - how helpful and friendly they were.
The staff was really nice and helpful.\n\nThe bathrooms need an update, it looked kind of like mold in there.\n\nIwould stay here again, the people and the convience of the location, the beds were comfortable, just didnt like the way the bathroom looked could of been cleaned.
The beds were very comfortable.\n\nIt was not very wheelchair friendly; no ramps from the parking lot.\n\nThe room was comfortable, there were not very many selections at the breakfast, but overall it was a good hotel for the rate.
Unbelievable clean and updated refurbished room for an exceptional value; location is hard to find;
Convenient and clean.\n\nVery friendly good place to stay.
Traveling through from Arkansas to West Texas and needed a place to sleep. Arived late and left early however the room was terrible. The bathroom was filthy, there were dead bugs in the room, and there were long black hairs all over the floor. The bathtub/shower had a drain issue and I had water up to mid-calf before finishing my shower. I would not recommend staying here if you have another...
Bryan, the morning clerk was wonderfully helpful and friendly. Hard worker too.\n\nI am partially handicapped. A first-floor room was declined me initially until I stated I am handicapped, then one was suddenly available.\n\nOlder motel. Moderately safe location. Rooms clean. Beds are quite comfy. No bedbugs as of 09/2011. Reasonably well maintained on the exterior. Lobby is attractive....
You get exactly what you pay for nothing more, nothing less. Its good if you need a place to stay for one night. It made good use of what my fiancee and I needed, a night to ourselves away from our hectic lives. The room itself was clean. The bathroom, more specifically the shower and toilet, left something to be desired as far as cleanliness. Staff was polite but nothing spectacular.
Room was not clean. Poor breakfast. Needs a remodel.
This hotel is in a weird area. While there a lot of construction workers were staying there and it made my elderly friend who was traveling with expensive things very worried. It was alright for the price but next time I'd probably pay a little extra to stay somewhere nicer.
Clean and satisfactory.\n\nNo security to keep an eye out on guests and rough & stiff linens/towels.\n\nMet one creepy individual that attempted to follow and enter my room. A good reason I did not use thw pool for my own safety around strange individuals in this neighborhood. A few kids were running up and down levels banging on doors at 12am. The towels were either cheap or old, very stiff...
Good location on 35E.\n\nThe rooms were so poorly kept that we moved to the La Quinta in Denton.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.\n\nA terrific hotel - Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they have large Samsung HDTVs plus all their channels are in HD so you get real HD, and you get a free breakfast. Add in the low price and good location and it's almost a steal.
A terrific hotel - Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they have large Samsung HDTVs plus
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good for a free breakfast.\n\nThe bathroom was dirty.\n\nThe staff was friendly and attentive to providing us a room away from the other clientèle. The location was good but the property is fairly old and could use some deep cleaning. The beds were soft, but ok.
It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
I stayed at this hotel because I had a job interview in Lewisville, TX the next day. The hotel room was clean but the hotel was a bit sketchy. They put me in a room in the very last building and it looked like I was the only person there. There was very little light outside and it was hard to find my room. The free breakfast was a little sad and did not have many options. Overall, I would...
The staff is very accommodating. I traveled to Downtown Dallas and they arranged transportation for me.
good
average. met expectations, did not exceed them
The staff was great. The room was spacious and clean. Within walking distance to convenience store and two restaurants. The fitness center was adequate but I would've liked an elliptical. The complimentary breakfast had little to interest me. Hotel doesn't offer conditioner for your hair and with flight restrictions and very long hair, that was sorely missed.
Rooms was clean and just what we needed for the one night.
someone had a barking dog and they moved me away from it.
We arrived and needed a refridgerator for special needs. The staf moved us and everyone went out of their way to make the stay great!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have back problems, the bed was very comfortable and it didn't make my back hurt. I forgot my toothpaste at home and the hotel gave me some. I have no complaints.
We arrived in the middle of the night and were greeted by the friendliest staff. The room and linen were clean. Everyone we met with the staff were extremely friendly and willing to help if we had any questions or concerns.
We had our dog with us, and so did some other people. It was nice to stay at a pet-friendly hotel in a convenient location in North Dallas. The pool seemed fine, but we did not use it. The room was clean, but it wasn't very luxurious. It was fine, but the room smelled badly--like smoke and something else (dingy hotel room smell).
Everything was great for the price except that the water for the shower was not hot enough. When I mentioned that to the desk clerk the next day, she was very courteous and apologized and said that I should have mentioned that immediately so that they could have fixed the problem.
I attended my friend's wedding in Plano. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious & clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends & family.
Fridge and microwave would have been great!
Close to highway & airport and about 30 minutes from downtown. Hotel was clean and relatively quiet (being right off the freeway). There was nice size desk in the room and good, strong WiFi signal. Really great for the price. There's lots of "big box" dining options a short drive away on the service road (Chili's Chipotle, Outback, etc) and even more if you explore some of the East/West roads.
Near the e-way, easy on and off. Very friendly and helpfull staff - Thanks Jimmy for all the directions!good breakfast choices, clean rooms.
They changed the room at our request because the rooms on the back side of the hotel didn't appear safe at night.
Stopped overnight at Dallas for a flight in the early morning. The staff who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. However, if you wanna rely on a cab ride from here, do not ask the front desk for making a reservation for you. I guess they wanted to do a friend a favor by getting them our fare. I wouldn't mind that but the car was filthy, ragged and full of trash and cigarette smoke. If...
Non-smoking room apparently smoked in. Staff very quickly and courteously changed our room located in the back of the motel. Very clean and quiet. Large room and easy access parking. Great room for the price.
The hotel was very nice, well worth the price
Very friendly and helpful staff. Tabitha was especially nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and very convenient. Hotel is a little older but overall a good deal.
There was nothing that stands out about this hotel stay
This location is close one of my favorite restaurants ever. The place is large and the girls there are so cute and nice. Stay there as often as I can.
This is a place you would not keep a dog at! Rooms are dirty. Linen has holes this includes your blankets and sheets! Towels are stained! Alot of Truck driver stayed there. Not for family at all!!
Guest did not leave a comment.
The Lewisville La Quinta hotel was extremely convenient to my family's homes, shopping venues with my granddaughters and entertaining places to take the girls. It is very nice when the bathroom is separate from the vanity area, which had a good-size counter. The writing table was attractive and had a good surface and plenty of room. There is enough room for hanging clothes. The beds were...
This hotel seemed to be the only one in the area that wasn't sketchy. We didn't really want to pay $70+/ night for a hotel but were glad we did. A friend who lives in the area agrees that most of the other hotels nearby are either of poor quality or questionable safety. Our room was clean and pretty quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. We wound up with two double beds (best deal)...
the room was very clean and very well cooled the temp was 102 but the ac was able to keep up without a problem. the maid service was timely and the linens and towels were always clean. the best value in a long time
