Italian food is the dominant theme and it makes it well worth the trip. Call for reservations or order take out either way you are sure to be satisfied with your selection. Casual dining is the atmospheric theme and it's a nice place for a casual evening. Call for reservations.

Don't order the pizza

Ordered 2 pizzas and they came so loaded with cheese that we couldn't even taste the toppings, or the crust. It was so inedible that we weren't able to eat it.

Stale bread and slow service

After a repeat visit to the Arlington location tonight, I must say I agree with others-- the bread was stale and the ravioli, while itself was good, was drenched in a pile of sauce that didn't fit the ravioli. I took a group of 13 people to this restaurant based upon the recommendation from this web site. This was NOT a good experience. I had a group of 13 and called a couple of weeks ahead to arrange for a table and called the day of the meal to remind them and to ensure that they were prepared. Il Radicchio has the largest Italian Menu and wine list in Northern Virginia. Wood Fired Oven, Spaghetti with 20 plus sauces, steaks, fish specials, ravioli is perfect and very fresh.

Food is a little dry, had the sandwich and chicken. Both could use sauces. Service is slow, waiters don't refill glasses, glasses were a little dirty also. Prices are a little high for lunch. Would not recommend, there are better places to go in the area
