Business Description from the Web
Il Radicchio Of Arlington cooks up an Italian cuisine.
It's a nice formula: endless bowls of spaghetti with the sauce or sauces of your choice, good wood-baked pizzas and a few sandwiches.

The food was okay, but management was terrible. I will not go back again.
Ordered 2 pizzas and they came so loaded with cheese that we couldn't even taste the toppings, or the crust. It was so inedible that we weren't able to eat it.

I am in favor of this place. Ambiance is the way it should be -- a little quaint Italian villa. Good wine? Check. Good service? Check. Plus, they do something slightly different. They emphasize a plethora of sauce combinations. I like this because pasta is too simple to make. It takes 15 minutes at home. By emphasizing on a more complex and challenging, yet appealing element to the dish, this...

I often go there for good spaghetti and sauce. Can never complain about that.
Had lunch here with family--service was ok, pasta very good, sauces superb, prices reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend again.
Good food. Large portions. Nice atmosphere.

After a repeat visit to the Arlington location tonight, I must say I agree with others-- the bread was stale and the ravioli, while itself was good, was drenched in a pile of sauce that didn't fit the ravioli. The service was slow despite having few tables occupied, and as we walked out the servers were laughing and carrying on at the front of the restaurant blocking the door. They didn't...

About a month ago I went there for dinner with a group of friends and we were given stale bread...we asked for fresher bread and our request was honored. Last evening a friend and I went there for dinner once again stale bread arrived at our table. When we requested fresh bread -...

I took a group of 13 people to this restaurant based upon the recommendation from this web site. This was NOT a good experience. I had a group of 13 and called a couple of weeks ahead to arrange for a table and called the day of the meal to remind them and to ensure that they were prepared. They appeared to have forgotten my group was coming and the man I spoke with was abrupt on the phone.

This restaurant consistently offers a wonderful and fun dining experience. I can't say enough good things about it. Highly recommended.
Il Radicchio has the largest Italian Menu and wine list in Northern Virginia. Wood Fired Oven, Spaghetti with 20 plus sauces, steaks, fish specials, ravioli is perfect and very fresh.
Great food, wine service⦠excellent.

Food is a little dry, had the sandwich and chicken. Both could use sauces. Service is slow, waiters don't refill glasses, glasses were a little dirty also. Prices are a little high for lunch. Would not recommend, there are better places to go in the area
