I took my wife here for Valentine's day as a surprise. The view from 19 floors up in Downtown Milwaukee was exceptional and overall a fun experience.

This restaurant is due to close permanently in April 09.

The food (Salmon) is mediocre, worth maybe a fifth of what I paid. The portion size was small, the seasoning/sauces was bland and dull, the greens on the side were tasteless. My carrot... more

I brought my family and our friends who were visiting from Mexico. I have never been more disappointed in a meal. There are exactly 7 entrees on the menu including 1 vegetarian entree. The prices are ridiculous-$26.00-$38.00 for the most mediocre food I've had in a long time and that does not include soup or salad. Good vegetables make the meal for me and my Walleye was not only... more

Many things were disappointing, and it was obvious that if the view was not there to attract customers, the restaurant would have undergone renovations and staff changes a long time ago just to keep people coming. The chairs were uncomfortable, the plates had grey marks on them from being so old and the windows were dirty. The decor was also old and uninspiring, and portable serving tables were... more

Great little restaurant for those who are tourists. The spinning restaurant is at the top of the Hyatt and it over looks the city of Milwaukee. Good food, but if you are the motion sickness type, just be careful. I liked how it was unique, but the... more

This hotel is a nice, cheap place to stay if you're visiting Milwaukee. The rooms are average and price is good. We usually stay there if we are coming up for a Brewers/Marquette game as it's a great location to downtown attractions.

However, if you're looking for a NICE hotel in Milwaukee, for sure look into others, such as the Pfister or Hotel Metro.

I picked this hotel because of the Hyatt name and good downtown location. The parking was expensive and the room was only fair. The bathroom grout was all moldy-gross! I ate at the Pilsner restaurant in the hotel and had slow service and a very stained coffee cup.

Pros

If you don't want to leave the Hyatt to eat this place is OK. The service was very lacking - we had 5 different people wait on us and i don't really understand why. The coffee cups were all stained and the breakfast "buffet" was expensive for what you got.
