I stay at the hotel that was excellent, front desk superb! The steak was perfect, the lobster was fresh, price was high but worth it. I snaged a great deal on a room and loved every minute of it. The hotel seemed pretty empty and the front desk staff very helpful. Adressing me as Ms. almost like I was a princess. Hotel Phillips is an elegant, historic Kansas city hotel. Renovated in the earlier this decade, the hotel has a lovely European elegance and comfort that one does not find in other hotels. This hotel was located downtown in an area not exactly appropriate for tourism. The hotel was nice however.

I liked that it was downtown and close to where I needed to be for meetings. The rooms were unique and the beds were soft.

It is on the national historic register and it has a beautiful art deco lobby and surroundings. The room was equally sleek and the service was impeccable. I plan on going there again.

This hotel made me feel content: The room itself made me feel like I had gone back in time to a more elegant and chic time.
