This hotel is located next to most of the main attractions and restauants downtown. The hotel staff was excellent, the restaurant inside the hotel was typical for a Garden Inn, but the rooms were large by comparison to most chain hotels.

We stayed at the Garden Inn for a weekend getaway with our kids. The hotel was doing renovations and besides that some of the wallpaper didn't match the carpet you would never know. The lobby and hallways were extremely clean, as was our room. I was greeted by EVERY member of the staff that I walked past. They made me... more

This is a great hotel for families or business travelers. We spent a couple of days visiting the downtown sites. The hotel offers easy access to the aquarium, restaurants, and the children's museum. The staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast was very good! I would definately recommend this hotel!

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX and the Children's Discovery Museum is right next door. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe walking at night alone with my 7 year-old. It is a clean, nicely decorated hotel. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I have stayed in this hotel... more

We booked at this suite for 2 adults and 2 children over the internet in advance. The Positives: Its location would be hard to beat- steps from the Discovery Museum and about 2 blocks from the Imax and Tn Aquarium. Downtown Chatt. also has a Free electric trolley/bus that will shuttle you back and forth on the spine of Downtown.... more

We have enjoyed our stays at a couple of other Hilton Garden Inns, so after finding on Tripadvisor that there was one in downtown Chattanooga we selected it for our vacation there. Hotel is in great location. Right next to Creative Childrens museum. Within walking distance of Tn aquarium and many places to eat. Had to pay $7/day for parking. Parking was tight. Sometimes it was difficult to find a space. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was decent and met all our needs. Overall, very nice stay and room. Ate breakfast... more

Checking in at 11pm on a weekday, the front desk sent me to 3 rooms that were already occupied. After 35 minutes of trying to find a room, they finally sent up security first. The compensation they felt appropriate was an extra breakfast for my traveling companions. Absolutely horrible customer service, the worst I've ever had.

Very friendly but not very clean

We enjoyed our stay in Chattanooga, and the hotel was fine. It was not terrible, but I would not stay there again. The good: *It's very easy to find, just a moment off the interstate, and the location is perfect for a visit to the Aquarium. We were in town for a performance at the Tivoli theater, and we were... more

in town for 2 nights, this hotel is clean and easy to find. Staff went well beyond in all areas - and wanted to help, not just doing their job. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and quiet. Coffee and breakfast in lobby are a great final touch. Book early because I bet this hotel will be #1 in the... more
