Help us make it rightNeeded a last minute hotel for a little impromptu "staycation". Rates are always fair and the hotel is located in a nice part of our beautiful city. It is close to the freeway so it was convenient to get to and from the places we planned out to visit.
I have stayed at worse hotels before. But this one leaves u guessing. Watched a fight out my. Window with my 5yr old standing there also. Some women trying to bust out a car window with a brick. Little to say i will never stay there again. My family say it is the !!! house of la Mesa! If I knew that I wouldn't of stayed! Plus. They have a pool that u can't even use.
The wifi didn't work the hotel was horrible. Strangers not staying at the hotel were asking us for money and trying to play a con. We were put all the way in the back where you heard the highway cars all night. I feel that this was done because of the discount rate. There was no way they were filled up. The rugs were worn and THEY turned off the lights over the bed so you could not read. Also...
Hard to get into hotel, rooms not available when they were suppose to be, floors were nasty, beds were very hard.
Did not have a good experience. The staff was rude and not helpful at all ! One of the housekeeping ladies barged into the room at 10:30am while we were changing before check-out -- WITHOUT knocking and said it was time to check out (check-out time being 11am) !!!
Continental breakfast includes donuts, muffins and coffee only.
Staff refused to help us get a simple one-page print out that we...
I had to wash the uniforms of our soccer players & I was very disapointed with how the laundry room was. It was dusty & the floors were so dirty that it seem they hadn't been clean for weeks. The water of the pool & jacuzzi was kind of dirty, so why even advertise there's a pool & jacuzzi @ this hotel. & the worse was the breakfast, the pastries were cold & the coffee not good at all.
I usually like to complment rather than complain. But this time, I will rather share the bad experience of my staying hoping the managment of the hotel does correct its business style.
We checked in around midnight. The gentle man at the front desk was totally unwelcoming.
We knocked the door for his attention. Instead he stared at us from with in. We knocked again and he slowly walked to a...
There was a brand new fridge in the bath area which had a cord too short to plug in or be of any use.
Unable to take a bath/shower for 2 days because of the rust and stains in the tub. A dark brown mat had been cemented to the tub probably for non slip, however looked filthy.
One wash cloth was provided for 2 people for 2 days.
We booked because it was 6 min. from the new address of my...
Very dirty, made reservation for a non smoking room and was giving a smoking room with my kids. Told management they told me it was to late to switch at 3:30pm untill the next day when my kid has asthma.
This is our second year staying at Heritage during Comic-Con weekend. With our family only staying Saturday Night, we didn't expect too much and we didn't want to spend too much either.
Pros: Allowed 1 night reservations, unlike many others requiring 3 night minimum for that weekend. Allowed pets (though we didn't bring one). Offers free WiFi. Fridge in room. They offer danishes and coffee in...
If you want something basic, then this is the hotel for you. It isn't the Ritz (not even close) and it is not for family. Shopping and food places all around, but late at night it is not the place you want to be out doors. We experienced 2 suspects being arrested right out front of our hotel door. It wasn't a nice 4am wake up call. If you need to stay somewhere cheap and this is the only place...
The staff at the front desk is rude, they almost seem as if they dont want to help you. For the price of the stay and the overall of the hotel. You are better off going somewhere else.
I really like the location and security of the hotel. Really easy check in and check out.
The hotel is very old and not really maintained very well. The smoke odor is very strong although we had a no smoking room. The carpet was old and very sticky and dirty. The towels were hand towels and not bath towels. The people were great, it is okay for a short stay.
The hotel was very noise. Outside noise and you could hear the other rooms. Shadey people hanging around outside. Is this used as a halfway house?
I will not stay here again
The location is right on the freeway and the shopping mall is down the street. Very convenient. But the hotel was old and had a weird smell. I stayed here for 2 days 1 night. I'm not sure what's wrong with the water line but I could only take a 5 minute shower because after 5 minutes it's only cold water running. I was not happy at all with that. It was near my friend's apartment that I was...
Older Hotel, clean. Ok for a night to sleep, shower, and go.
This is a very reasonably priced place to stay, the only really bad part about it was that the elevator really smells bad, other then that it is okay.
Good Value for the price. Very centrally, conveniently located off the 8 Fwy. Only two slight annoyances . . . so very close to the freeway makes for a constant gentle roar (no problem once you're inside your room) and there is only one way on to the property off Fletcher Parkway and that access looks as if you're getting back on the freeway. The only sure way to locate the street is the yellow...
Very usable but just VERY noisey location. Noisey clients (kids, teenagers, etc.). Toilet got plugged twice. The motion detector lamps in the sink and bathroom araea would keep turning Off then On on there own.
TV was pretty old... but worked ok.
Air Con was very old and noisey but seemd to work OK.
The coffee in the morning wasn't that bad.... I guess thats all the good stuff I could talk...
The hotel stay overall was comfortable and homey. The hotel's a little outdated in the rooms but still satisfactory. The rose garden by the lobby is delicious smelling and very pleasing to the eye.
You get what you pay for, but very clean room. The room and the beds were comfortable.
It was clean place. I think it lived up to what you pay for it. It seems to be in a safe place, but saw some sketchy people on parking lot once. Have no bad things to tell..
Bare bones type of hotel very close to freeway - noisy. The air conditioner in our room was decrepid and needed to be replaced. Had to check out hair dryers at front desk for "2 hours" at a time. For the price expected something better.
The room was clean and it was comfortable. The staff was helpful and we enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi; it was clean. The hotel is within walkling distance of a couple of strip malls. I felt safe and secure in this hotel. I would recommend to families who want to visit San Diego. It is right off Interestate 8 and not too far from Grossmont Center and other major malls.
Shady clientele, had to call 2 early mornings (2 am) due to next door had several people 'visiting' the room, they also had 2 little toddlers and a dog, was approached for solicitation, police called to premises almost every night of our 17 night stay, 3 available outlets in room, fluctuation of water temperature for shower, noisy, over priced for...
Nothing\n\nThey added a mandatory fee in addition to my "name my own price\n\nThey added a mandatory fee in addition to my "name my own price, so the room ended up costing more than I had bid. Priceline should give me the opportunity to not be placed in a hotel with mandatory fees.
The hotel was a good place to come with kids and groups .Room look like a motel 6 room as you can see in the picture maybe some up dating is needed .
The location of the room was good for us because it was next to the track where the Soap Box Derby races were being held.
Great location and wonder staff.\n\nNot in particular.\n\nNot at this time, thank you.
Inexpensive\n\nThis is a fine hotel, if all you're looking for is a lace to sleep. Be Prepared: The tricky part is the entrance to the hotel can be found by driving up a road that looks like it's the exit ramp to the freeway. It's not the exit ramp, so it's safe; but it's a little confusing.
I was on a no frills personal trip and this hotel was exactly what I needed. I'd stay there again if I needed to.\n\nNot really.\n\nThis hotel is nested in a freeway off ramp and there is only one way to get in or out but surprisingly quiet. I would stay there again.
Good basic hotel for the price. Clean, functional room.\n\nGood basic room for the price. Location is right off the highway. No problems and a good nights sleep was all I was expecting and that's what I got.
Near to the freeway.\n\nRooms are small and hotel staffs are not friendly.\n\nIt looks like a motel and room having a old TV , unfriendly staff and free breakfast is just show off. They had few muffin and coffee, not even plates and spoons were placed.
I checked in late on a Friday night and at about 1:30 am I noticed something crawling on the comforter. I looked again and there were bed bugs on the comforter on both beds. I was moved right away to the first floor from the second floor. The night lady seemed shocked that this happened however the lady in the...
Room was spacious, clean, free wifi, frig and right off I-8. What else do you need. Didnt spens much time in it anyway. A kool inexpensive way to expierience San Diego.
It was clean, right where we needed it for easy access to everything we wanted to do.\n\nIt was hard to find the entrance at first.\n\nWe enjoyed our stay here, staff was friendly, easy access once we figured out how to get in and out. The room was small, but clean.
No microwave, coffee maker in room. TV would auto shut off every few hours. Charged 2.00 a day extra for electricity.
\n\nFirst thing I noticed was a sign saying they are charging 2.00 per day extra for electricity. TV kept shutting off by itself, no microwave or coffee maker in the room. Swimming pool was cloudy, then next day it was drained so didn't get to use the facility.
The coffee was good.\n\nThe room smelled bad.\n\nWhat I expected for the price. The Internet had problems half the time I was there I couldn't use it. There weren't enough electrical outlets for phones, laptop, and hair dryer.
They charged a mandatory fee not included in my Priceline bid.
Great location in San Diego.\n\nI am stay again this week.
Older style rooms, minimal outlets... but all in all great to sleep, do a little business, and still keep a low budget... on the whole trip.
The stay was pretty good. It's was close to all attractions and in a nice area
Getting out.\n\nIt was the worst ever experience, I have had.\n\nThis was the mostdirty place, I have ever stayed! I had to buy new bedding and pillows just to get into the bed. I would not remove my shoes do to thedirty carpet.
great staff. very friendly. booked a NON SMOKING Room and got a SMOKING ROOM because there was no non-smoking rooms available due to booking online. Couldnt stand the smell of cigarettes!
The room smelled so nasty, and gross. The room looked like it had never been updated. Over priced, this was my first and last time staying there. To be honest this was one of the most ugly and gross hotels I have ever stayed at.
Hotel staff were incompetent, rooms were nasty, location was loud by major freeway.\n\nInitially, I booked 3 nights at this hotel due to the location and didn't realize it was sitting right off the freeway on/off ramp. Not a good location due to constant freeway noise. The hotel staff did not have my reservation. I made 24 hours prior, and couldn't understand why they didn't get it. The hotel...
I've stayed here approximately 10 times in the last year and 1/2 and had always been pleased until now. They lost my reservation and put me in a smoking room which had not been cleaned very well. The clerk also made me pay their 'electrical surcharge' twice after he said I hadn't paid him. ( I had). I will not stay there again.
Don't stay here. They've lost a customer forever because of their customer service.
Quiet and well maintained!\n\nEntry into the hotel is dangerous cause freeway exit is right at the hotel entrance\n\nThis was our second stay at the hotel. It has a rough entrance but the hotel is nice! The beds were comfortable, room is clean, and the area is very quiet. We will definitely stay here again.
we planned a last minute trip and couldn't find a hotel we were familiar with. We were a little disappointed we couldn't stay where we wanted but it all turned out well. The room was clean and comfortable.
I was a little hesitant to stay here at first, but I was pleasantly surprised with a clean room and a convenient location.
After reading reviews I was a little scared to stay here, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The room didn't have much ammenities, but honestly for the price I wasn't expecting any. The main thing I was happy about is that it was clean! And, its about 10 min from downtown SD and the beach not bad!
It was conveniently located and a good value.\n\nThe bed was not very comfortable.
Nothing.\n\nThis hotel is dirty, unsafe, and overpriced. The room smells like urine.\n\nDo not stay at this hotel. Management is unprofessional and indifferent about guests. Do not bring your pet here. There is no place to walk them or have them relieve themselves.
Place soooo old. The room only had beds and a small tv. Without those it seem empty. It didn't have an iron or iron broad. No blow dryer not like ramada inn. I rather stay @ motel 6.
If convenience to a specific area is important and all other hotels being too expensive than this is the place for you. Otherwise, pay a little more.
The price was right.\n\nHard to access. Poor exterior maintenance.\n\nThe hallway carpets and some of the exterior paintwork needs attention badly, but the room, itself, was entirely satisfactory, especially given the price. It is nor far from a nice shopping plaza on University Ave. and a 99 Cent store just up the hill.
Clean\n\nslow internet, few choices for breakfast (only coffee & muffin), noisy as close to highway\n\nRecommended if you don't mind the noise of cars from close by highway, if you don't plan to eat their breakfast, if you don't need high speed internet, yet you simply want a bed to sleep on and a bathroom for shower.
Bad place hard to find, sting place n dirtyand extras charge for room.\n\nBad.
Front desk people are very rude, On our 1st night we ask for extra pillow, they did not have any but the way front desk people talk extremly rude to us, next morning arount 8:30am i called and request for some extra pillow & fresh towel for our 2nd night stay, arount 8pm we came back to our room no...
I reserved a non smoking room, but did not get it because they said its not a guarantee. So it smelled like smoke. Not good for someone who has asthma. Was not able to change the room, because all double beds were taken. The first night in the jacuzzi we had a homeless person who was higher then a kite. So much for security checks. It seemed that on both days they had locals come and use the...
The staff was friendly and lots of close stores and restaurant.\n\nRoom smell, parking is so small, cops were in and out all night.\n\nThe first thing that is not good about this hotel is the location, you have to drive try across two freeway exits, parking is so narrow, the rooms smell, and there was cops in and out all night I don't know if it's always like that but the two nights we staid...
Clean bathroom!\n\nIt was by the freeway so it was a little noisy\n\nGreat for quick trips and very affordable. Got what we paid for!
Good location and price\n\nBad staff. Ok area. Not the best facilities
This place was ghetto! The room smelled really bad, the people a few doors down from me were smoking pot and the bed was uncomfortable! the staff themselves looked nasty. For $62 dollars it was not worth it!
Been staying here on average once or twice a month for last 14 months. The place is an outstanding value and the motel itself and staff have gotten better since my first visit. Going back in three weeks.
Location andprice.\n\nThe rooms were stuffy, kind of smoky (stale).\n\nNice place, friendly staff andgood area.
Perfect accommodations for my purpose which was to visit family.\n\nFirst time there I had a hard time finding it but then found easy access.\n\nVery clean accommodations. Perfect for a few days stay. No frills but I will certainly stay there again.
Dear Sir,I couldn't imagine for one second, that I will have this bad experience during my stay in the hotel.- Room bad odderEven after cleaning during the second day?I found Bed bugs.I couldn't stay for the second night, we left earlier??
We were left alone.\n\nTV didn't work right.\n\nVery good if you don't need much.
The Heritage Inn in La Mesa..just off the freeway needs to be shut down. This hotel is breaking every law ....although I can't prove it. ...being trained in certain areas..I can say 100% these people are on drugs and there is protestution going on...I was walking by a room and seen a chart on the wall with names...and some really...
Always a great experience at Heritage Inn. Inexpensive, clean, convenient and a great deal for the money. A bunch of really good places to eat close and freeway access is immediate. I'll be there again in a couple of weeks.
If you are staying in/around San Diego with dogs this is a good hotel. We were in the room a total of about 10 hours (7 sleeping). It's a little dingy and dim, but we weren't looking for the Embassy, just a place to rest our bones while we explored SD.
First, thereer is nothing wrong with the area except that the entrance to the hotel is indeed hard to find....it is innediately off the offramp to the right as you exit from the 8 East.
Do NOT be scared off by prior reviews. The rooms are small, but mine was immaculately clean and the refrig worked well. A rarity in this price range is a fair sized pool and a hot spa. The elevator did not...
this hotel initially seems convenient as it is next to the freeway (i-8), but the entrance was hard to find at night. the staff was helpful and courteous. they were even able to find my son's lost eye glasses. the neighborhood is not the best as it is mainly commercial, but it is near a lot restraurants and stores.
Let's start with the location.
Right off the highway means directly on the highway here. If I jump out this window I will be directly in traffic. If you absolutely have to stay here make sure you come from the west or take the side roads. I promise you will miss it if you don't.
Second, the rooms.
The smell...
The staff there is very nice, and I found the rooms to be comfortable. I've stayed
here twice, and would stay again
The in-room fridge works out great for me. Do my shopping at Trader Joes, about a
mile or two up the road, and I'm good all week. Shared microwave in the lobby.
Location is good. Near restaurants &...
I stay at the Heritage Inn frequently as it is close to my parents. It's gotten to be even nicer over the past 6 months. A great value and close to really good restaraunts, close to really enjoyable outdoor activities and the beach. I'm staying there again in a couple of weeks.
This facility offers basic accomodation at a reasonable price. Nothing fancy, no extras (although they do offer a "continental" breakfast) but with a pool. Close to the 8 freeway so be careful about room location if that is of concern. In our case the room faced the freeway but the noise was not all that noticeable.
Stayed at the Heritage Inn for the 6th this year and was pleased as always. The staffis always helpful and the rooms are a great value. They're always clean and comfortable. My only complaint is this: The last two times, the refrigerator was unplugged and this last time there wasn't even a plug in the wall next to it. Goofy.
When I first drove off the freeway, I totally missed the turn off to enter this hotel, which is smack right by the freeway on/offramps. The hotel is OK, and for around $50/night during the summer was the best I could find at the time, because the city is a popular destination for the summer. The $50ish price is for...
Too many day laborers around. But, the room was clean and comfortable, we had a great rest.\n\nThe day labors and a few transients in the bushes and the back stairwell was under construction.\n\n
As stated above, the room was comfortable and we slept quite well. Although, the hotel allows a lot of day labors who leave a lot of trash in some of the wooded area near the hotel parking lot. The...
A friend was visiting from Las Vegas and managed to choose this place based on the cost. I visited with her. This place is tough to get in and out of and is clearly being used as a long-term stay place. The room was clean but spartan would be the best/nicest description. They have a pool and it looked clean...
Clean, the look and the greenery.\n\nNothing I didn't like.\n\nI would go back in a heartbeat.
It was a good price, pet friendly and just what I needed which was a place to lay my head on a holiday weekend.\n\nIt was right off the freeway so it was a little loud.\n\nNot a bad hotel, especially for the price. It's nothing too fancy, it has a bed and a tv with cable. It has a pool and a jacuzzi. It is kinda confusing how to figure out how to get into the parking lot. It is a pet friendly...
I've stayed at the Heritage Inn 5 times now and have never been disapointed. Great value for the money.
ok to skeep and shower
I noticed the Heritage Inn while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn. At the time (last May) the Heritage looked a little shabby, but they've obviously spent a lot of time working on it. While the TV and carpeting is a little old, it's clear they've recently painted things and they're working on other improvements. The in-room A/C works well...
Very convenient to SDSU and places to eat.\n\nThe TV remote didn't work and we weren't able to connect to the Wi-Fi.\n\nThe room was clean, the bed was decent, the a/c worked. Very close to SDSU, great for parents and families who just need a place to sleep. Continental breakfast wasn't impressive, but edible.
I stayed there two nights. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean! It was a hot day and the sparkling cool pool was very welcome too! The front desk staff where very friendly and helpfull as well! This place is one of the best values for the money in the area. I would stay there agian...
Never go there, bad place, expensive for that price you can get something better
Bad area, right next to the freeway with a lot of noise.
I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was.\n\nBecause the freeway is so close it was a little noisy.\n\nI will be staying at this hotel often it is close to the freeway, and the college and very affordable.
The room was very spacious.\n\nThe in-room refrigerator didn't work.\n\nThe room was acceptable in terms of a clean, comfortable, inexpensive place to stay overnight in San Diego. It was only minutes away from SDSU, which was our purpose in visiting San Diego.
This place was right off the freeway, not hard to find, just hard to get too, it only had one entry/exit. We got there, my reservation was put in incorrectly -hotel took full responsibility, but couldn't do anything about it. (so call before to confirm that they have the right information); we had reservations for two beds, it was entered in incorrectly, so the first night they were only able...
Mini refrigerator, and which was great.\n\nHard bed, lumpy pillows, thin walls, and loud guests next to us.\n\nFor the price, it was good. I did not expect such lumpy pillows and such a hard bed. I needed to take sleeping pills to sleep a whole night. The wifi did not work, but they had signs that stated they were getting it fixed. I loved having a mini-fridge in my room!
Comforting sign outside office reads: "Suspected Criminal Activity will be Immediately Reported to Police."\n\nParking spots are too small causing all the parked cars to occupy more than one space.\n\nMuch nicer than expected. I stayed at this hotel in the 90's and it was filled with lowlifes; this is no longer the case. The Heritage Inn is clean and well maintained and the staff was...
location close to freeway, easy on and off.\n\npoor continental breakfast.\n\nFriendly help, clean rooms, good location especially to the freeway (I-8. Poor continental breakfast. Good value for the price!
Enjoyed my stay at the Heritage Inn again. This is the third time in as many months, and I will be going back in a couple of weeks. Inexspensive with good people working the desk and housekeeping.
Not impressed,
comfortable & quiet\n\nlights were on timers. made it hard to charge my laptop at night\n\nnice stay. nice people. pool is nice. onsite laundry is nice.
unable to check in
Very pet friendly even for my med/lg German Shepperd great morning coffee..\n\nEasily missed approach from the I-8 and busy cross traffic on street approach.
A pleasant, inexpensive place to stay. My parents have moved to assisted living so I needed someplace close and cheap while visiting.Heritage Inn is just fine. It's close to good places to eat and not too noisy. My only complaint: The refrigerator was unplugged. You couldn't tell and my stuff stayed lukewarm.
Primarily I went there to rest up from my long drive from Phoenix. I was a day early for my new job and wanted some quiet time to settle in before moving in to my new place. I was on a tight budget, so the Heritage Inn fit the bill. Everyone was very friendly and I was able to rest up before continuing with my trip. It's not luxurious, but for the price, it's safe and friendly.
Good hotel clean, nice hot tub, restaurants close by, if you are traveling witthout a car though it sucks, not close to any trolley(mile plus walk) and no bus routes to be seen.
Unless you are looking to buy crack and sleep with the bums, stay away.
Hotel was very convenient right off the freeway and close to shopping. The lady at the desk seemed like she didn't care if we were there or not, but not rude at all.
Found a dirty sock first thing in our room. The room smelled of weed and the hotel staff was friendly but gave me the impression that we were ina bad neighborhood. They only allowed check in through a window and had security inside watching everything. The lobby was closed, I guess because it was late, but we still had to wait for two other reservatiuons to check in before us while we stood in...
Prostitution in the room next door.....MULTIPLE men in the room ... very loud. Apparently one woman. Calls to the desk were answered by a very rude man. "Security" apparently very well acquainted with prostitute...entered room without knocking. Nothing done to correct the situation.
My experience at the hotel was fine. I received exactly what I paid for. The only complaint is that the approach to the hotel, once I had exited the freeway, wasn't very clear. I had to turn around and come back to find the driveway. The hotel room was clean. We had adequate linens. The room was on the backside of the hotel, so street noise was at a minimum. I enjoyed my stay.
This stay was a blind special rate where you pay up front before you know the hotel. Overall the property was clean and well kept. The clientelle appeared to be mostly migrant workers and there was loud talking from numerous people outside much of the night and the discounted room I was given had constant loud clicking noises coming from the ceiling probably from the elevator adjacent to the...
I read some of the reviews for this hotel and I wasn't sure if it was a good place to stay, but we were on a budget so I made the reservation anyway.
The hotel was pretty good, obviously nothing fancy but it was comfortable and it served its purpose. But just like other people have said, the entrance for the hotel (from 8 West) is hard to see. Be careful with that.
And there were some problems...
A really nice place for the money... No it's NOT a DoubleTree Suites nor even a Holiday Inn, but as I said for the money it's a pretty good deal. Staff is friendly and courteous, The rooms are clean. I was in San Diego on business, and it was very close to my client. It's a good deal if you're looking to save bucks. Would I vacation there with my family ....probably not
After booking the hotel, I heard both from other travellers that it could be a "seedy" hotel, with a lot of noise, prostitution, police activity, etc. I was spooked!I was down there to work, finish the days work, and after dinner checked in, locked my door, turned on my TV and Air Conditioner (to muffle the freeway noise) and went to sleep. Woke up in the morning and checked out, without any...
It wasn't to bad the location wasn't soo good but everything else made up for it
I looked for the cheapest hotel on short notice, a found this place in La Mesa. Alot of druggies around and police presents balanced the stay. Front desk was awesome and helpful.
This hotel seems horrible at first, chances are it may be!! After staying at this hotel NEVER WANTED TO COME BACK. And when we got home, a family member got bed bug bites. Not from her our home, but from this exact hotel!!!!!!! The bites are all over the arm, a little bit on the face, and so on.
Very well priced hotel, just off I-8 Freeway.....the only problem with location
is that the entrance is hard to find, as it is literally part of a freeway ramp.
Full sized pool and spa, which can be hard to find in this price range.
I travel there for "business", but there was a good mix of pleasure travelers
along with us Construction-type guys.
But, one of the prior Reviewers is quite right...
It appears that when things break they are not fixed or replaced. No clock in room, no hook on bathroom door, all ice machines broken was able to get a few cubes from clerk at desk.
The room smelled of bengay, the staff was over loaded with to many guests to handle.
This is one of the worst hotel that my family and I have ever stayed in. When the description states "Pets are allowed" it says everything. The minute we walked inside the room we started itching from fleas. My son opened the door of complementary fridge and a roach ran out. It seems the carpet has never been changed since the hotel was built, walked around the room with my shoe on could not...
Moving across country is not easy. Moving with pets is almost impossible. The Heritage Inn offers a low weekly rate and they accept pets. This has been my temporary home for the last few weeks and…
I stayed at this hotel last weekend. As the previous reviewer mentioned, the hotel is located directly off of the 8 freeway and the entrance is tricky and very easy to miss. I made the reservation…
Went to check in, the lady was rude off the get go. It was only one lady that was like this. Got to the room and the smell of smoke was over powering!! Then on top of it the beds sheets had smoke burns in them. It was right on top of I-8. Normally hotels are maybe a few blocks off the road but not even close. You entered this one as you were coming off the off ramp!!!
I found this hotel on hotels.com for staying after a concert at Soma and it was great. Our room was really quiet and we could barely hear the traffic on the freeway. I gave this hotel 4 stars because…
Stay was comfortable
Just an update...I still have nothing but good things to say about this hotel compared to all others in the same class. On the weekends you do get a more louder crowd but there is a security guard who…
Didn't get much sleep due to police activity in the room a few doors down.
We stayed here for a couple nights during our vacation to the west coast. 11AM checkout means you have up to 11AM, not 9:45 or 9:50. Good rates just make sure you put the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on your door prior to getting naked and then relizing you left your underwear in the other room. ATTN: Please knock before...
I have to go to La Mesa for my work once a week. I always stay at another hotel but this time i forgot to make a reservation and my hotel was full so I stayed at this hotel because it was the closest one. OMG I'm still scared, they are next to the free way, no security at night,...
We arrived in the evening. The office clerk was freindly. A strong smell of smoke was noticed in the office. The first room was dirty, broken light switch and a strong musty smell was noted in the room. I asked for another room. The second room was equally unacceptable. Although the price per night was attractive, I declined to stay there and requested a refund.
The place was decent. Although it seemed at about 10pm it got really loud - I was on the first floor so I could hear the loud talking guests [*]
After we complained about what may have been a team of Clydesdales in the room above ours they kept that room empty the next night. That was very nice of them. The walls were a bit thin, and the family with the crying baby in the room next to ours decided (somewhere around midnight) to light-off incense! My allergies loved that! The room was clean.
