From the second we met the valet, we knew that costomer service was important to them.

We were impressed when we tried to take the stairs down to breakfast and staff on the second floor heard us talking in the stairwell and let us out. The stairway way for exit only and would have required us to exit in the alley, if they hadn't heard us. (We thought this might be the case so one of us... more

We attended a family event in Indianapolis and stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown where reservations had been made for us. We had never before stayed at a Hampton Inn and, given the modest cost, we did not expect anything special. In fact, "special" is not a word I would use to describe this hotel. More appropriate words would be... more

I love this place. The parking has gotten expensive but it is rare to find a place right in the heart of a major city under $100. The breakfast of buscuits and gravy, bacon/egg bagels, coffee, fruit, cereal, etc is free and terrific. The front desk gals are fun and friendly at all times of day and night. This is... more

I loved this hotel and it's staff! I will stay here again for my next Indy trip! I must say the breakfast area was better than expected and kept us from paying to eat breakfast out! Me, my wife and two of our friends stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown on a Saturday night for a wedding that was downtown Indy. Nothing much to say - the usual Hampton Inn quality and service. Nothing exceptional (although the staff friendly if not terribly well organised). The rooms are small but very comfortable. Free internet of course and free breakfast.

HOTEL REVIEW # 159 MY TRAVEL STYLE: If possible, I try to stay away from business hotels and strongly prefer resorts that resemble the Four Seasons, Aman, and Oberoi but try to find similar properties at lower cost. Not up to normal Hampton Inn standards. We had a King room with hot tub (didn't use due to hair in it!) Hotel room was nice, clean, and comfortable. I don't know if the air in the halls and elevators were on the blink, but it was hot and muggy the entire time. Four of us stayed at this downtown Hampton to attend an event at Conseco Fieldhouse. We found the hotel to be very clean, the staff very friendly and the hot /cold breakfast full of choices. Booked this hotel because my husband had a medical appointment at Indiana University. (not the best travel circumstances). The location of this hotel couldn't be better -- near to everything in downtown, it seems. Moreover, the staff were friendly, courteous, and BOUNTIFUL (a refreshing find in any U.S. lodging, especially a budget one). This is a great location for visiting Indy. The only problem we had was the panhandlers on the street as you walk. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. The valet parking guys were very fast if you needed your car. This is next to the circle center mall and lots of restuarants. Try the Weber Grill.
