Excellent job!

Job Well Done Goettl
We are so pleased about the new HVAC system that Goettl installed in our home on Saturday. A 5 man installation crew led by Ron and Billy worked from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm, removed our old system and installed two 5 ton and one 2 ton split HVAC systems. We were very impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the crew which worked all day in the 108 degree outside temperature. Their work was thorough and excellent. Much better than I could have hoped for. They were not only obviously very well trained, but also neat, clean and courteous. They all knew their individual jobs and they all worked well together. It was a very impressive team effort. We are very happy with the new system and look forward to the security, comfort and energy savings that this new system will provide for our family in the years to come. Thank you again Jim for a job very well done!

I am so impressed that Goettl retains such talented and effective employees. The lady who responded to my call was both courteous and efficient in getting a repairman to my house within 90 minutes. The repairman noticed the problem immediately and had the air back on within 40 minutes of arrival. The issue was a rarity in my new Goettl AC, which replaced my previous Goettl HV AC that I had for 47 years! I made this upgrade with Goettl because of their reliability and this has proven to be a good decision for a number of reasons!

Great Representation
I am a Goettl customer. Have been for 30 years.
During the past week my current 3 year old Goettl was not performing up to spec's. Because of this I had the occasion to interact with Dam Brumlow on several separate dates. Let me preface my comments by saying I am not generally one to write letters or make phone calls expressing either my dissatisfaction with or approval of how I was dealt with by those individuals representing the businesses providing me with necessary professional services.
In this case however, I feel I simply cannot refrain from comment. Dan Brumlows' conduct was exemplary in every way. The basic things, such as appearance, mannerisms, professional conduct and an 'in command, reassuring presence' all come easily to him. Such skills are at the heart of what constitutes good customer relations. It is not easy to project cool, calm and collected in 110 degree heat. All the more difficult when your customer has been living, perhaps for a day or more in such heat and the 'real patient' is a big metal box that cannot tell you where it hurts.
In Dan Brumlow you have in my opinion, an outstanding asset capable of doing many things to promote the interests of, and enhance profitability at your company. His bottom line potential if utilized correctly is considerable. If it was my decision to make, here is how I would use such an asset.
Not everyone no matter what their level of experience or time on the job is capable of taking what they encounter in the field, internalizing it, condensing it down to a few sentences that can be taught quickly to others to help them become more adept at dealing with the wide variety of exigent circumstances arising moment to moment in the field. Therefore I would make sure a large portion of his time is spent training other technicians hands on by example. Also in classroom settings or seminars. Mr. Brumlow is valuable both for his technical skill and knowledge as well as for his customer relations instincts. A real breath of fresh air in an increasingly stale industry.
Clearly Dan possesses both custodial and creative talent. He can teach what is sound official company methodology developed over time by others, what I call custodial talent, and this is important, but he can also act in an original proactive fashion, what I call creative talent, responding to the ever changing fluid conditions of operating in the field, developing or modifying methods and policy and effectively teaching those things to field reps or managers to the betterment of company productivity and bottom line profitability.
I retired years ago from a career in corporate America, I needed more family time, but if I still had similar responsibilities today for directing national marketing and sales and allocating management personnel and resources, Dan Brumlow is the type of person I would have brought in, and moved up quickly. He is a keeper. I would take pains to keep him off any competitors payroll, and secure on my payroll. His compensation package should be increased accordingly and regularly.

Impressive Service!
It was memorial day weekend, and it was Sunday a little before noon. The guy from Goettl, named AJ, was here by a 1 o'clock. He ordered the part and got it fixed the next day. Above and Beyond...
When the gentleman from Goettl came, he was so down to earth and knowledgeable about the product, the functions and energy efficiency. We didn’t even know there was so much to learn about air conditioning. We didn’t have any intention of buying a unit, and the service man was very understanding. He helped us get in touch with the right people and fill out an application. He called and got approval almost right away, and we ended up buying the unit. That was the last thing we expected we would do. So we were pretty happy with the overall help and service. After he knew that the sale was done, we were talking about a filter that’s really hard to get…a real unusual filter, and he said “oh okay, no problem.� He got on the phone and they shipped a case of them to us, no charge. Faithful Service.
I usually have Goettl come in the spring to service my heat pump. The service man surprised me by saying it had been up there for thirteen years, while I thought it was only about seven. It has proved very faithful. While the gentleman was here, I asked him to change the thermostat. After he left, I found the thermostat very complicated, not being familiar with the digital age. So after a few weeks I called them with the problem and they came back and put on a new one. He happened to be in the area so I got service within one hour. He was courteous and helped walk me through how to use it, and I found it quite simple. My experience with Goettl has been very good overall, and I plan on continuing to use them in the future. Efficiency at its Best!
We recently became the proud owners of a new Goettl Air Conditioner/Heat Pump. We were so impressed with the employees who helped this transaction take place. They were pleasant and helpful, and certainly knew the product they were installing.
Additional work was required due to the increased amount of air “rushing” through the duct work. William carefully examined the problem, explained the cause, designed the necessary plan, requested the necessary materials, and then in a most efficient manner, solved the problem to our satisfaction. He worked carefully and patiently in the heat and dust, made sure we were happy with the result, cleaned up the mess, repeated directions (again) for the thermostat and remained calm and “nice to have in our home” the entire time.
You can be very proud of the way these people represent your company, especially William.

3rd service call in three weeks, 1st - a defrost sensor was replaced / not geting heat - 80.00 next, service breaker needed to be replaced from unit running to much - after sensor replaced 150. next / txv part needed to be replaced - 580.00. Had I know that a 4 year old unit would need this much service " parts are free" I would have trashed it and bought a Carrier or Trane instead.
Still no gaurantee that this 3rd repair will last and for how long.

I have never had a tech come out for the GK who was so thorough and conscientious. I can't say enough how pleased I was with him. From now on, I will only request John when dealing with Goettl.

They charged me $80 to park their van in front of my house and in 5 minutes have the tech tell me that my system was old and poorly designed and that I needed a new system and it would cost $10,000. When I asked him to just fix my system he told me that it would cost another $171 to even see if there was a leak and another $1,025 + $3,000 in parts to fix it. I asked him to just put some Freon...

Goettl tech Art came out to fix my A/C and did a wonderful job. When I need an A/C repair again in the future, I will definitely call Goettl and request Art.

I had been dealing with A/C problems since I moved in to my home and after calling Goettl my problems were solved! Jason the tech did an amazing job getting my unit to work perfectly. Big Red Flag
Any company that has 40 five star reviews makes me think something is off. So I googled goettl and found out that the Attorney Generals office is trying to shut them down for shotty business practices. Google it yourself before you have them in your home.

Goettl sent tech Shawn to my home and he was exactly what we needed! He was very professional and kept us informed at all times. It wasn't an easy fix but he was persistent and hung in there until all of the problems were taken care of and we had cool for the first time since the unit had been installed by another company.

Goettl has a real winner with Rolland. He came out and performed my tune-up and I think AJ and Rolland are two of the best technicians I’ve had out at my house from Goettl. They weren’t only friendly, they were extremely knowledgeable. Goettl has a real asset with them around. I renewed my Gold Key with Rolland because I felt comfortable with him.

Awsome Job
They replaced our two AC units. From the sales man to the installers fantastic. No hard sells, no mess during install ( they wore little white booties inside) and didn't leave until we understood everything. I wish more service groups acted like these professionals.

Having worked form them as well as being a customer I can honestly say that Goettl is a company name in HVAC that you can trust.
