Business Description from the Web
The progenitor of this just-left-of-a-fern-bar chain was the birthplace of stuffed pizza, back when a brick of bland yellow cheese was considered appetizing. The stuffed spinach and mushroom number is still a decent choice, but don't stray too far from pizza when ordering.
Local favorite serves up stuffed and thin-crust pizzas as well as a variety of Italian favorites.
Tips About This Business
Having a party? Have Giordano's cater. In addition to pizzas, there are party trays with pastas, salads and sandwiches plus a selection of desserts.
Stuffed pizzas take 30-40 minutes to bake, so it's a good idea to call and place your order ahead of time.
Editorial Reviews from the web
In Short Red-and-white tablecloths, family-sized tables and friendly staff contribute to the convivial atmosphere for those dining in, but this popular local restaurant chain is a favorite for takeout, too. Thin-crust pizzas are cut in squares, heavy on mozzarella, easy on sauce. Stuffed pies are flaky-crusted with ingredients that include fresh pineapple, shrimp and classic...

I love this pizza! they are the best yet, there service is excellent! i went to the one on jackon and i had a wonderfu; time. i would refer this place to anyone. enjoy
I went here as a new resident of Chicago a few years ago based on its reputation. Boy was I disappointed. The ingredients tasted like they came out of a can and the pizza was just plain not good. If you want to eat a lump of processed cheese and stale ingredients, go right ahead. Otherwise, go to Ginos or Art of Pizza.
Side note: my company orders from this Giordanos all the time. I have...

Go to Gino's if you want classic Chicago-style pizza. The location on Jackson next to the Sears Tower is not good. Surly bartenders and bad service. Does offer a personal stuffed pizza special for lunch, which is OK.
This Place was recommended to us, we drudged through rain and cold just to find a nasty manager who wanted to close 2 and half hours early and would not serve us, even after we explained we just traveled half way across the country. Went to Excheruer instead and had a great pie, with great, friendly Chicago service. Avoid the chain!

This is one of the best Pizza Places around. We have gone there while on business trips and will always go back when we are in Chicago. Right in the heart of Chicagoland.
I've lived in Chicago most of my life and if I could only have one pizza, it would be Giordano's. I usually order the thin crust with sausage and mushroom though of course you need to make time for the stuffed pizza as well. It's delicious and will feed you for days. Yes, there are a number of memorable pizzerias in Chicago but for me, Giordano's is the best of the bunch. Enjoy!

Maybe pizza is good when dining in the restaurant but one that was delivered to my door was the worst I've ever had. Crust was very hard, no crunch to it. It was burned. It was supposed to be thin crust - it was much thicker than any other thin crust pizza I've ever tasted. Cheese was burned and hard. It was a first and last time I ate there. Greek salad was pretty good.

The atmosphere is great with a great downtown Chicago location. The pizza can't be beat. When dining at Giordanos, it will take a while (it takes about 45 min for the pizza to cook). The beer is cold, the staff is fun. This is definitely a place to go to when in Chicago.
I loved the pizza. It is so much betta than the suckers around the corner...Dominos... If you want good foor you need to go to Geordanos!!!!!!!

This was my second trip to this particular Giordano's. It was just as good this time and the wait was only a few minutes. They were pretty busy, but I noticed our waiter had 3 tables a little upset because he never came back to take their payments. They all 3 ended up standing by our table which was by the kitchen door to try and catch him as he went by. All the other servers seemed busy,...

We are from the SF Bay Area, and have been to Chicago several times. We all love Giordano's. It is the one place that is a must visit when in your city. One one visit, our son ate their three nights straight. We even had is shipped home once. When we used Anderson Consultants out of Chicago, I had them bring Giordanos to our work location in SF and we used the cafeteria ovens to bake them. The...

If not for the pizza, come to say you've been. Good pizza, long wait, low prices. Beats Numero Uno and Due.

I've only been to Chicago once, but I ate at two of the best restaurants I could have. One, The Weber Grill. And two, Giordano's Pizza. We came across Giordano's completely by accident and saw the sign that read "Voted Best Pizza in Chicago." So we thought we'd give it a shot. Of course we had deep dish (what else would you have in Chicago) and it was worth the wait! It was the best...

I visited Chicago last August with my family, and our friend's. We ate at your restaurant twice, and could have eaten there everyday. Your pizza is WONDERFUL. I am from west Texas and there is not a place around that comes close to yours. Great.

When making a visit to Chicago I always make a stop at Giordano's Pizza. The appetizers are okay with extremely large portions. The salads are good but the highlight is the pizza.
Yes the stuffed pizza takes 30+ minutes but is worth the wait.
Pros
+ Pizza, Salads , Appetizers
Cons
- Long wait

One of the best pizza spots in Chicago. Born and raised in Chicago and grew up on this pizza! Others try, but no one compares when it comes to stuffed pizza! Wouldn't trade it for the world!
Pros
+ Fabulous pizza!!
more cheese than you can healthfully imagine and a very tender crust. the sauce isnt my favorite but i mean it is derived from a vegetable so what are you going to do
they have these checkered tablecloths like everyones at a picnic. in reality youre sitting inside a restaurant on randolph street surrounded by those faux old-time photos of italian-looking people. but whatever; whoever giordano was im pretty sure he wasnt an interior decorator. giordanos does pizza and they do pizza well. their servings are huge considering how much you pay. i ordered the...

Terrible service. All the waitress was interested in was the Spanish channel on tv and talking to her friends. Tacky looking decor and the worst deep dish pizza I have ever tasted with an overcooked crust.
