guy. He wouldn't leave me alone, he kept waiving and sending me beers, which i didn't accept. But what PISED ME OFF, was that I asked the manager to make him stop, because he was being annoying, and he told me it was a free world and if I had a problem I could leave. SO I left and never come back.

I am a huge fan of the Flying Saucer chain and I have been to many of it?s locations.

The food has definitely jumped up in quality recently with the new menu. The Bratzle is freaking awesome! A sliced up Bratwurst on top of a giant doughy pretzel with Guyre cheese melted all over it.

First of all, the selection is truly impressive. However, I would not go there with a crowd larger than 3, MAYBE 4--you'll NEVER find a place to sit. Downtown has had a downhill slide, but the Saucer still has a great crowd, especially on Thursday and Friday nights. It's large so you can have a big group. It gets pretty loud, but the seating upstairs is a little more tame for those who have bad hearing!

Well, yes, there are a few, Melissa and Marissa to start, really cute, often friendly and outstanding beer knowledge, helpful with beer and food suggestions too. Adam, the knowledgeable, entertaining, glass twirling bartender is an asset as well.

The Flying Saucer was an awsome beer joint. The selcection was outstanding and our "Beer Goddess" was more than willing to help find a beer that suited our tastes. They have this club you can join for $14 bucks and once you've drank 200 beers, you get your name on a saucer which they plank on the wall for all to see. Too bad there isn't one in Chicago or I would have bought one.

It is a filty bar. The restrooms need to be cleaned more than once a week and with soap. While the wait staff is barely dressed believe me you will not want to stare at them too long. The management is poor and lack experience. Over all I would not recommend this place to anyone. I truly hated it.

I love this place and attend regularly as part of my UFO membership. Still, I have had only one great waitress here and she got run off.

I have gotten better service at the bar, but this is place to sit at the tables after work. Still, I can't complain too much about a place I am willing to fork over $12 for a beer.

The Flying Saucer has something for everyone. Anyone who categorically dimisses beer cause they "don't like it" just hasn't had the right one yet. The Saucer Chicks and bartenders are very knowledgable and will work thier plaid skirted hineys to the bone to find just the right beer for you.
