The pizza is good here, but I prefer the sandwiches.

Consistent, good food and a reasonable price. Highly recommended for good pizza, subs and salads.
one of the better places to get a good pie on the westside. Also one of the only places I know to actually sit down and eat a pizza in a decent setting.

I went to Dagwoods on Wilshire Blvd. a few months ago. They have pizza, sub sandwiches, calzones, pasta, salads, and everything else along those lines.The food was pretty good. Not terrific, especially for the price. It is a very casual restaurant, where you order and then sit down wherever you want. Sort of like a Subway, but a little more expensive. The best pizza in Santa Monica lays in the burning ovens of Dagwoods Pizza. Their perfect spread of cheese and tomatoe sauce seperates them from the rest. It's also CHEAP!

Good stuff

We were a little wary of ordering a pizza in Ca, seeing as we've had the best in Illinois. Plus... they put weird stuff like whole wheat flour in the dough and carrots on top. :-) But the pizza we ordered here was very good! We didn't stray from the normal supreme type toppings... However, I do prefer a crispier crust. The pizza was a little "limp". The staff was very friendly!

Best Pizza Place in Santa Monica

I have tried them all and I've got to say that Dagwood's has the best pizza in Santa Monica. It's all about the crust and the cheese. I think they may have the best normal crust on the West Side. They also usually have great people working at the counter.
