We stayed one night (7/27/08) at the great hotel. The room was spacioius and the King size bed was fabulous. Great bedding and very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. Not up to Crowne Plaza standards

Some of the reviews I read about this hotel complained about noisy AC and elevators. Our AC wasn't noisy, it just didn't work properly. In the middle of the night we awoke to a very warm room. The elevators were painfully slow. But, the price was right ($60 from Hotwire) and the property was just 2 blocks from 16th Street.... more

Very Loud A/C

If you are expecting a relaxing good night sleep, this is not the hotel for you. The A/C was very loud. The only way I could get some sleep was by using their complementary ear plugs. I was exhausted after spending 4 nights there with no sleep.

The service was terrible from the arrival throughout the entire stay. When we arrived they put 4 people in a 1 bed room (didn't the computer tell them the room only had 1 bed). They've taken a Holiday Inn and turned it into a Crowne Plaza. It would be more accurate to say they're turning it into a Crowne Plaza, because it's not at that level yet. dirty room. the carpet was dirty and bad. the remote control didn't work. toilet didn't flush at all. a noisy a/c in the room. there was no towel or hand towel that was cleaned. i wouldn't stay here!
