Irecently ate at Cozzolis Pizza at lunch time, it is great pizza but the Gyro and greek salad is the best i have eaten. They are always fast and friendly. Just by principle, I will not be returning to this rude establishment. A couple of earlier reviewers mentioned that it does not have the "Austin atmosphere". I work at the central library and started going to Cozzoli's due to it's proximinty. I have kept going because there is always a giant slice of terrific pizza loaded with flavorful toppings waiting for me when walk in. The crust balances crunchy, chewy and yeasty to perfection. Cozzoli's makes the best pizza and it isn't close. I like all types of Pizza including Chicago, New York (like Cozzoli's), thin crust, thick crust and others, but Cozzoli's does what it does better than anyone else does what they do. The food is okay...reminded me of the pizza places in malls. Got a calzone, salad, and drink for $10.25. The drink selection is good, with juices and green tea (my favorite) available, along with sodas of course. Anyways, the calzone was okay, until I found TWO dead mosquitoes in the MIDDLE of it. Makes me nauseous thinking about it.
