Stayed at the Comfort Inn Downtown and it's a pretty nice hotel. Right across the street from Mud Island. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very helpful. Beale Street is about a 10 minute walk. The fitness room was small, but had two nice swimming pools.

The room at this hotel is very nice in the way it is decorated. The internet works good and there are many channels on the TV. The room they gave us was on the inside of the hotel with no windows which is ok but the ice machine dumping every once in a while all night is quite disturbing. This is a good hotel. It is easy to get to off the interstate. The entire staff from the housekeepers to the front desk were very helpful. The trolley runs right in front of the hotel so we were able to get around down town. The only thing things that I found annoying was that the breakfast seating area was very small. We stayed here on June 10, 06. The room was roomy. It is about 5 min. away for beale street, but just ride the trolley line($1.00 one way). We didnt walk back since got the last trolley about 12:45am. Parking is very sercure, but the lot did get full so after we got back from shopping, the car stayed put.... more

The Comfort Inn staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We stayed on the 10th floor and the maid Vivian was exceptionaly pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel and the location.

As other reviewers have said, top floors are being renovated so better to get one of those where you'll have new furnishings and if you request a river view you won't regret it, great views of river and bridge into Arkansas, looks great night and day. my wife and I have stayed in this hotel several times over the last few years and find it great value. The staff have always been excellent and helpful. Location is great (Ten minute walk to beale street)and easy for driving to and from. We will be staying here next year again.

Stayed two nights in November. Other reviews right on. Place is modestly priced, convenient, clean, free wireless internet, good location, spacious with friendly, helpful employees. Good breakfast. FABULOUS view overlooking the river. Only negative is double beds should be updated to queen or king. If you must have large bed, be sure you ask.

Just got back and had a great time. The room was large and clean!! Staff was really nice. Free breakfast was great. Close to all and easy to get around with 2 small children. Would definitely stay again. Can't lose with this hotel.
