This has been my second time to the City Club and I had yet another awesome time! The atmosphere cannot be compared to any of the other nightclubs in the Downtown area bar scene. The entrance fee is quite reasonable, only 5 bucks a person. The water and drinks are just a bit expensive though. If you love industrial, techno, and dance music, this is definitely the place for you.

I've gone here quite a few times with friends. It's a wonderful place, the atmosphere is dark and wild. It makes you throw away your inhibitions and do what your heart desires.

This place should have been demolished after Hoffa disappeared. Staff is rude and uninterested in guests. Cafe is open if they can keep it staffed and the food is greasy spoon at best. Rooms are dirty and smelly and very very small with stained carpeting. Our bathroom door didn't even shut all the way. This place if falling apart at best.

Excellent music and a nice large dance floor. However, the place is dirty and I am guessing under funded. There is NO dress code. And... No one really cares how you dress or how you dance. Which I like. Though the club itself looks quite scary, most of the people are actually quite friendly. Some of the bouncers are very cool and have a good sense of humor. I've been going to this club for nearly 7 years and I love it; that said I have hardly ever seen any money get put into the club. I used to go every weekend, but now I only go about once a month and not at all in the summer. There is no air conditioning in the place, which makes it difficult to enjoy dancing. This club could be so much nicer if more effort was put into maintaining it. It's sad... more

The club itself is legendary, but over 20 years of high-attendance & low-investment have more than begun to take its toll. The sound system is a joke. Yes, it's loud, but does it sound good? Not really. The restrooms are dirty. There are a lot of 18-20 year olds in this place.

One of the best clubs I've ever been to! Atmosphere is very dark, very loud, thumping, energizing music. Lots of friendly, interesting people to meet. Most drinks (that I know of) are either $4, $5, or $6. Most people usually wear all black with chains, rings, etc. The more alternative the better! Great place! I don’t think that trendy would be the correct word used to describe City Club. You can be yourself and don’t have to look like you just walked out of a magazine. It’s a "Goth" club, and I use that term loosely. It has great music and cool people, for the most part. but don’t go there if you wanna hear booty music, go there if you wanna hear GOOD music.
