We stayed here numerous times before 9/11attack and again on reopening. Agree with other comments regarding plazma TVs. The staff is about as good as you find in NYC, which is great. The suites are tiny, but good for NYC. Nice to have a pool in the city. Weekend rates are great since financial district empties. Stunning views of the WTC site, uptown towards the Empire State Building, or over the Brooklyn Bridge. Great bed, but my corner room gave me a not-so-great angoe of the 42" plasma TV.

Everything was great. One curious deficiency is that although every room is equipped with a plasma TV; why wouldn't you have digital television to go with it? The static was terrible. Digital cable can't cost that much. It's like serving boxed wine in Riedel glasses.

This is a very posh hotel in lower manhattan. The beds are plush, the rooms have big plasma tvs, the service is great for the most part. Although small, our room did not seem like it was because it is well-arranged, sleek, and modern. Everything is pretty new, the room includes a flat-panel TV, and the view is gorgeous from both main sides of the hotel. A great value at $150 for the night.
