The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and willing to help with anything. The beds are so comfy, as well as the pillows. The plasma...awesome. The only thing a little depressing is ground zero across the street. The area is pretty dead at night, and times square, fifth ave, etc are quite a good distance away. Overall great place.

It's surprisingly good. I had my laptop with me and five minutes after check-in they hadgiven me a cable to hook in to the Internet. Reasonable daily rate as well (5$). Nice staff. Very nice beds, 42" Plasma TV is cool. But the A/C is substandard. It just doesn't cut it. If you see this is a high priority you should consider to stay someplace else. Although small, our room did not seem like it was because it is well-arranged, sleek, and modern. Everything is pretty new, the room includes a flat-panel TV, and the view is gorgeous from both main sides of the hotel. A great value at $150 for the night.

I left my luggage with the Conceigre and when I went to claim it, the Conceigre was closed so the bell guy gave me my luggage and cut my tags with a knife instead of a pair of scissors. Very good hotel. Did call to ask for 2 queen beds in one of the 2 rooms we had. We only got 1 queen in each room. We had 3 adult men with us and they had to share a bed which was very bad considering the price and their age and we were only allowed to purchase 1 roll away for the room for the 3rd gentleman.

The hotel has a rather businesslike aspect which will melt away after one night in its extremely cozy beds and one shower in its marble enclosures filled with extra nice Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries. Could not be a better conjunction with a subway; you come out of the world trade stop and there before you after coming up the stairs is the Millennium Hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it. This trip I stayed Friday though Sunday nights. Friday night there was all-night construction at the World Trade Center across the street and plenty of noise and it was impossible to sleep and too late to change rooms. Saturday and Sunday nights were very quiet, but beware of weekday noise.

From Tammy Lewis : The hotel was directly across the street from Ground Zero. The hotel was very nice inside and out. The staff was on top of everything and the service was great.

Our view was breathtaking!!! We could look out our window and look down on Ground Zero and then we could look out across the city. Breathtaking views!!

Although in lower Manhattan and out of the way, the hotel room was large for NYC standards and very well appointed (hair dryer, beautiful linen, flat screen TV.) It was easy walking distance to tribes, china town, and solo. It's a perfect hotel if you're interested in ground zero or century 21 shopping.

Located right across the street from the World Trade Center site, this hotel is ideally suited for business travelers. It is located right next to most of the major subway lines. If you are traveling with children, this hotel is not suited for you because the rooms either have king beds or two small full beds.

A good location and a very nice hotel except for the constant crowds and noise from the World Trade Center/Ground Zero which is directly across the street. Lots of construction in the area also contributes to the problem. The lobby seemed often to be a resting place for tourists who were probably not staying there, but were occupying seats while resting.

We were very pleased with the staff, location and room. The area was relatively quiet, and close to a good subway stop. They let us check in early, which was nice after a red-eye flight from the west coast. Overall, it was a great hotel for a great price.

We stayed here numerous times before 9/11attack and again on reopening. Agree with other comments regarding plazma TVs. The staff is about as good as you find in NYC, which is great. Everything was great. One curious deficiency is that although every room is equipped with a plasma TV; why wouldn't you have digital television to go with it? The static was terrible. Digital cable can't cost that much. It's like serving boxed wine in Riedel glasses.
