We have been going to Hugo's Cellar for years. They lost their touch. Food was just okay. Salad use to be tossed right in front of you but the dressing is just poured on. Hostess needs to improve on her people skills.

I have been eating here for years it's one of Vegas best kept secrets! The steak melts in your mouth! They greet woman w/roses at the door and the butter is even rose shaped! If you order a salad they make it fresh at your table w/countless salad toppings. I recomend this for a date, family ocassion or just to treat and pamper yourself once in a while!

If you're looking to get away from the strip, this is a great downtown alternative. They are doing a lot with the downtown area, and it's a fun atmosphere to stay now. At the Four Queens, you'll get a great deal. It doesn't try to be a Bellagio or Ceasars, but this is a decent hotel in a great location. It's definitely worth a try.

The Four Queens is located right in the middle of the downtown strip. They are always offering rooms that are under $50. If you want to come to Vegas but don't want to spend a fortune, you should try Four Queens. The rooms are standard but if you do not plan on being in the room the whole time, you should be fine.

As the Strip continues to expand and the tourists arrive in droves, escape all of that and stay downtown. The Four Queens is not lavish and it doesn't have a volcano or pirate show. What it does have is clean rooms (don't expect brand new or luxurious) in an atmosphere of friendliness. Another downtown hotel, the Four Queens had a great rate, which is why we stayed here. We got what we paid for. The rooms are kind of small, but they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Mostly I remember the room had what I would call a tired feeling.

My wife and I drive to Vegas twice a year. Since the closing of the Lady Luck, the 4 Queens has been our "home" and it has been a good selection. For us, the room is a place to sleep or rest (not really interested in pools, gyms, etc.). With this in mind, our room has always been clean and comfortable. The bathroom has always been spotless.

The room was not a penthouse at Cesear's Palace, but you are not paying for a room like that and your not really ever in the room very much anyway so a standard room is just fine. We have stayed here several times. Tasteful, quiet rooms each time with plenty of space. Pleasant staff; easy check out and check in. Easy ride to The Strip to see the newest hotel extravaganzas, but we prefer the more cozy Frasier Street area as base. There is something to be said about pleasant human scale after mega-everything

The best of Las Vegas. My wife and I make a habit of visiting this restaurant everytime we visit town. Hugo's never seems to amaze us. From the rose when you arrive, to the salad made at your table, to the sorbet, the delicious main course (not ala carte), and the final desert. This is what all restaurants should try and emulate.

My wife and I have been dining here since 1985 and have never had a bad dining experience. The service, food, and atmosphere is one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. Also the wine list is excellent and Hugo's makes sure all the ladies are welcomed with a live rose.

Great "old vegas" experience. Since its an older restaurant the atmosphere is a little worn...but the service and food more than make up for it.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Four Queens for a week in the North tower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was great it had lots of space, en suite bathroom, TV with lots of channels, coffe machine, and was cleaned spotless every morning

I have been to Hugo's twice and I always look forward to going there for dinner. The food is excellent. Have had the prime rib and the duck and I highly recommend both. The atmosphere is nice although it gets very crowded on the weekend and the tables are pretty close together. Also when it gets crowded the service tends to slow down. A friend recommended this restaurant and will thank her profusely when I next see her. Even the taxi driver said we'd made a wonderful choice. Food was delicious, service terrific and friendly (a change from some of Las Vegas snotty restaurants. We'll definitely look forward to another dinner there.

VERY attentive staff, great food, great portions, and a rose for the lady. The only "negative" is it's a bit pricey and the volume is on the high side when the place is packed but other than that it is awesome for special occasions. Will go back again, no doubt about it.

My first experience at Hugo's Cellar will be my last. The service was very slow (our meal took 3 HOURS!), the hostess was rude to guests around us, and then, after writing a letter to the restaurant manager, she didn't even feel the need to respond. She had the hostess call me back to apologize and invite me back for free drinks.

My husband and i have to go to hugos whenever we are in vegas. It is one of the highlights of our trip. Every anniversary is more special if it includes hugo's. The food, atmosphere, service and the wine are impeccable.

Can't go to vegas without going to hugo's. And probaly two to three times. They do it right every time. The salad cart is awesome. The service is the best and the wine man "john" knows what he is talking about. My wife loves the rose as well as the chocolate covered fruit!do yourself a favor and try the veal.

I've been there twice. Fantastic, both times. Everything cooked perfectly. Service has been great. Can't beat the price for the product. Have paid twice as much at other places that couldn't compare the Hugo's Cellar.

Very elegant. Well worth the price of the food, the best fillet mignon I ever had. However asked for steak sauce 4 times before they finally got it, Jeff needs to get it together.
