Business Description from the Web
Peabody Little Rock is in the former Excelsior Hotel in downtown Little Rock (next to the Old Statehouse). The hotel underwent over 40 million dollars of renovations and is almost unrecognizable. It's absolutely beautiful. The main lobby attraction is, of course, a new fountain and four or five little water fowl.
Everyday the hotel loads ducks in an elevator, puts down a red carpet and lets...

I went with a group because we heard the 24oz Ribeyes were the best in Little Rock. I ordered mine Medium Rare but it was more like well done. The waitress never stopped by to see if everything was OK. We had to flag down the manager and get them to cook another steak. By time my steak was cooked and delivered, my group had eaten and was ready to leave. A guy who said he was the general manager...

go check out the marching ducks. i'm not quite sure what time but, they come down in the morning, then go back up in the evening. nice place!
Pros
+ the ducks, hotel
Cons
- none
The hotel lobby is beautiful. I spotted the ducks right away. They were swimming in the lobby fountain. There is a Duck Show at 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. The show was informative and cute. The room was very nice and CLEAN. Plenty amenities for the traveler including a special treat (carved out duck soap). The bathroom vanity was a...

I stayed at the Peabody with a convention group. The room was clean and comfortable. In general the amenities were businesslike. My only complaint was the inability to get a late checkout on Sunday, but they were obviously booked. The restaurant was too slow for lunch, so if you have an hour between meetings, it may not be enough time....

the place was great. They have robes in the rooms!! The bed is so comfortable. I was only there for one night but I would love to go back!!!
We stayed a night at The Peabody one weekend as we were visiting LR. The hotel certainly does not have the charm of the Peabody in Memphis (stayed there several times), but I would assume based on what I saw, this is probably the best hotel in LR. It reminded me of a nice Marriott or Hyatt. Check in was...

My husband and I were attending a conference at the state convention center. We chose the Peabody beacause of the name recognition and the fact that it was located next door. The hotel was not only next door to the convention center but actually connected via an underground hallway, which was very convenient. Check In: Our check in went very...

This was my first trip to the Peabody hotel in Little Rock, while an impressive hotel, would have been very disappointed paying rack rates in what was supposed to be one of the premier hotels in the world. When I walked into the main lobby, it was enormous, and very unfriendly. Extremely tall ceilings and no sense of flow left...

Had a hard time getting out of LIttle Rock after a visit with my sister and brother in law. After they dropped me off at the airport (and I waved bye bye), I walked into American Airlines and discovered my flights had been cancelled due to weather. Not wanting to bother my Sis to drive another one and one half...

Stayed at the property for five nights (was originally scheduled for two, but business kept me for an additional stay; hotel was gracious in helping me extend my stay). The property is nice, with an extremely gracious staff (especially within the restaurant). The one equipment problem with the sink (the plunger wasn't fully closed) was resolved quickly. However, two significant...

This is not a four star hotel. The rooms were old and outdated. There was no minibar. The television didn't have video (only sound) for NBC. Despite reservation request we were sent to a room with double beds and had to be moved. Staff was explicitely not-helpful, in some cases rude. The hotel looks like a run-down annex to the the convention center. Full stop. ...

I was in Little Rock for 3 days for a business conference and left very impressed with the Peabody Little Rock Hotel and the city itself. Coming from Seattle, I was not quite sure what to expect from this city but it certainly beat my expectations. After reading the reviews about this property I was concerned about the noise and...

Attended a conference at the Peabody and the Statehouse Convention Center. This is a very nice hotel with an efficient staff that really pays attention to details (like calling you by name when you call the front desk). Duck parade was very cute just like their Memphis counterpart. They come down in the glass elevator from their second floor location...

My family of 4 (2 adults,2 kids) stayed here in March 2008. The hotel is beautiful and the service is excellent. Our kids were disappointed that there was not a pool, however. The ducks were cute. I probably won't bring my kids back again-only because of the absence of a pool, but my husband and I will be back for our anniversary. ...

This hotel looks good, is clean, has friendly staff, and is located near the Riverwalk area, which has some OK restaurants and a lot of bars. Some rooms have great views of the Arkansas River. However, we arrived in late October, when it had just turned cold, only to learn the hotel doesn't turn the heat on until November 1, regardless of the weather. There also was no hot water in the...

AT LAST a hotel worth it in Little Rock! I was beginning to think there wasn't a good hotel here until the Peabody opened. Great hotel, close to most everything you would need in LR. I actually enjoyed this hotel more than the one in Memphis
It is a beautiful hotel in an excellent downtown location. Everyone will enjoy the famous Peabody duck march done daily in the lobby.
The hotel is located on the Arkansas River. I recommend it very highly for comfort and service.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: The valet greeted me with a smile asking how my day was going and how he could assist me checking in. I was treated as a guest from the moment I walked into the lobby. The manners of everyone I came in contact with were exceptional and they made me feel at ease.
The service provided by the staff was excellent.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The hotel had excellent staff. The staff made you feel welcome. The staff was knowledgeable. If an employee could not take care of something they directed you to someone who could or advised you of options.
It is the greatest place, with the best staff; everyone there goes out of their way to accommodate all needs. There was a problem on another floor with an elevator while my mother was visiting and they allowed her to be escorted via service elevators whenever she needed to go!
This hotel made me feel important: When you drive up to the valets you know you are going to be pampered. They all...
