The pizza is good, but if you?re not in the mood they also have great salads with homemade salad dressings and they make their own mozzarella in house. I highly recommend the mozzarella sandwich excellent. Anytime I have ordered fruit as a side it has always been ripe and fresh, I wish I could say that for all restaurants. My husband loves the local beer they keep on tap. Great place.

I completely agree with the review about the caeser salad, it is awesome! I have always been a big fan of good spinach and artichoke dip, and this place has my favorite! I take my nephew here all the time and he absolutely loves it. Good priced kids menu for a good size portion. All of the locations are awesome and the service is always excellent!

Every Friday we go to Brixx for some great pizza!!! When friends come to Charlotte to visit, they always want go to Brixx for pizza and beer before going out on the town. They have a pretty good beer selection as well as a variety of pizza toppings.

Another good uptown Charlotte location. Food is always good. Service sometimes can be spotty at times though. The restaurant atmosphere is nice so long as you are not looking for a nice, quiet meal. It is rather loud inside when the restaurant is crowded.

this location is great, its downtown, good food, great atmosphere also. I have tried all the locations including the one in greensboro, nc and this is the best one.

The pizza is good, but the Ceasar salad is the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. The ambience is really fun, but it can get a little loud on weekends (no surprise there). Get reservations on the weekend (or go during the week) for this eclectic pizza restaurant.

I went on Wed. 10/08/08 and got to see their brand new menu which is not yet posted online. Changes:
1. Veggie cheese is now Vegan Gourmet brand cheese
2. Now offer whole wheat pizza crust
3. No longer carry broccoli so the veggie pizza is now a California veggie pizza complete with avacado and tomatoes and roasted garlic! It was very good!

the hummus dish was amazing. black bean hummus i have never heard of, and was very pleased. the pizza on the other hand was slightly above average. i had the mushroom pizza, which i imagine is designed to be eaten with large amounts of cheese. no cheese, so it was basically 3 types of mushrooms on pizza dough. oh, and as far the servers go, they asked if i wanted vegan cheese (without me... more

Because Brixx's soy cheese has casein (they don't claim that it's dairy-free, just lactose-free), we just order a veggie pizza without cheese. The servers are always friendly -- tell them you're vegan, and they'll be really great about accommodating you. Brixx has a three-flavor hummus and toasted pita appetizer, which is quite tasty. Although the staff was very friendly when my parents and I ate here in '06, they told us the soy cheese was vegan (although I'm pretty sure they didn't intentionally lie). Encourage them to use Follow Your Heart Vegan Gourmet cheese - it's tasty and melts and lots of non-veg restaurants across the US use it on their pizzas.
