Though gourmet pizza is old news now, sausage-and-pepperoni converts still can't get enough of the garden pizza, the Neptune or the quattro formaggio (clumped with ricotta and sweet tomato sauce, like a lasagna pizza--with bacon).

In my opinion, Bazbeaux has the best pizza ever, even better than pizza in New York City, which is supposed to be the world's best. If you think romance is out of the question try sitting downstairs! The room is dimly lit by warm recessed lights that further accentuate the yellow hued walls. Most of the tables only seat two and it is a lot quieter downstairs than up. When you eat downstairs you are not exposed to all the frantic waitstaff bustling about or the noises from a lot of people squeezed into a small space.

I've had a lot of different pizzas and Bazbeaux is the only one I would consider calling an actual restaurant. It was actually fun and enjoyable to eat there! Other places are simply chains and don't have and can't reproduce that wonderful and unique atomosphere.

I guess I can only give it a 10 though. In addition to the many wonderful pizza combinations, the sandwiches and salads are also delicious. The service is good and the servers are friendly. Working downtown would suck a lot more if not for Bazbeaux.

Bazbeaux is a great place to eat, sit and talk or just people watch. They have great unique pizzas with all types of toppings depending on what you like. Not a Pizza Hut or Papa John's by any means. The staff is not overly friendly and gives you time to choose from the large selection. Everytime I have eaten at Bazbeaux's I've wanted to go back again soon. I highly recommend this pizza!

I've been a fan of the downtown Bazbeaux for years. The pizza tastes so much better there than other places. I like the crowd, the music, and the outdoor dining. Bazbeaux makes for a great evening.

Great homemade pizza..different and unusual topping..try the quartro fromagio.pizza very good. cheese pizza there would be great..with a homemade crispy crust..but the toppings are great ingredients and unusual combinations..very good. salads are good..and you can sit outside in warm weather..Two locations in Broadripple and Downtown on Mass ave.
