I went here with a groupon and got a really good haircut and bikini wax. The staff was very professional and friendly. The receptionist brought me hot tea and everything. Great Salon!

I got a great haircut from the owner Amad. My hair is thin so I have a hard time with it but he cut it to look thicker somehow which I love! He was so nice and did a great job. I also had my eyebrows threaded by Anna while I was there. She was really nice too! I definitely reccomend you try it!

Amad @ Amaci has been my go-to-guy for hair for quite some time now. Each visit far exceeds my expectations. His highlights are excellent, best I've ever had (and I am picky!) His glosses leave hair very smooth and shiny, and do not fade. Love his cuts too. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else.

With the arrival of summer I found myself wanting to shed my long locks in favor of the Victoria Beckham look. When I saw a woman with that exact cut I was sold and asked where she got her hair done. Amaci Salon said they eliminated my cost for the horrible service after waiting an hour and a half, but just so everyone knows...they did not eliminate the cost. They cut the price, but they still charged me what I get charged at my salon in my hometown. So not only did they provide bad service, but they also lied online to get themselves to look better.

For a moderately priced salon this place has it all. The staff is incredibly nice and the salon is extremely clean. Although I have seen great hair done by everyone there..Maria is my girl of choice. I went in for a haircut, and the owner Amad has good ideas but fails on execution. I went for something like a bob (short back and goes diagonal to the front), and he did a few things:

1.) center was not the center so I had a lopsided bob going on

I'm usually difficult to please but Amads creativity and skill when it comes to highlights always leaves me with a chic new look and excited for my next appointment. I've been to the salon and all I can say is, I'm not sure where these reviews come from. I think they are the owners friends. The owner was too busy taking care of other customers to pay attention to me or even blow-dry my hair (someone else did it). He seemed more concerned with himself than with the customers. I would go elsewhere.

Curtis did my extensions and I get compliments everywhere I go. Because of him, I know that they are affordable. He's honest, does a GREAT job, has a wonderful personality and he's reasonable, which is more than I can say for other Back Bay spots. These guys didn't just cut my hair, they designed it. Because of my thin, straight hair, designing it is rather hard and I usually get the exact same haircut no matter where I go. I came in with a coupon for a $30 haircut. Upon seeing the coupon they immediately started treating me differently than the other customers. i LOVE my hair removal by thread ( it was my face and my moustache as well). No more shaving is just a miracle. The treatment is not very uncomfortable and Anna explains everything as she goes. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the wonderful products they offer. I highly recommend making an appointment.
