Love the shrimp tacos and Margaritas!

Excellent place for delicious mexican food. Nice atmosphere, not too loud (if you sit in the main room) nearly everything on the menu is good. I especially love their Margaritas. Always a fun destination.

A neighborhood favorite, this spot in Oakland's hot Temescal District serves seasonal Mexican fare to a hip but low-key crowd. The food was good and fresh with nice flavors. Service was a little sketchy. Noise level made the experience somewhat uncomfortable. The margaritas were excellent.

Dona Tomas is always good. Everyone in my party had the chili rellanos, which were terrific and nothing like the greasy, cheesy options you usually get at Mexican restaurants. The outdoor patio is really fun and the drinks are excellent.
