I admit that for cuts and variety, I like Sushi Gen a tiny bit better.
But Restaurant Komasa opened the doors for me to experience what became one of my favorites: ANKIMO! (monkfish liver)

Excellent sushi spot that stands out even among all the good sushi joints in Little Tokyo. It's very small and very crowded, so we had a 45 minute wait on a Sunday evening, but they let you put your name and phone # down so you can wander away and get coffee or shop instead of just having to shuffle around outside while waiting.
