just what the ol house needed
I recently bought an older home, with the first order of business to gut and redo the bathroom before moving in. I had already decided to redo some of the plumbing because the walls were open and there would never be a better time. The house had other plumbing issues as well, lacking any device to keep sprinkler water from mixing with the water to the house, a rusted and decrepit water heater to name a couple. With my move-in date fast approaching and my to-do list only getting longer, I phoned Repipe Specialists after hearing their ad on the radio – I really figured it as just a shot in the dark, expecting it to be too expensive, too far out for scheduling, too this too that. Instead, the entire process from start to finish was exceptional. The estimator I met with was professional and knew his trade. He spelled out exactly what options I had and the pros and cons of each. The crew that showed up was friendly and efficient, and the foreman knowledgeable and respectful. At the end of the day the work was complete, the patching work they left for me to finish was minimal (I set it up this way), the house was clean, everything worked like it should, and my water pressure was incredible. And they passed the City inspection.

I am a former plumber and have been considering re-piping my own 52 year old house for some time. Since this was a difficult job working in a crawl space, and would have taken me a week to do myself, I decided it best to have the work done. One day while listening to the radio, I heard the advertisement from Repipe Specialists and thought I'd give them a call. An estimator called and we set an appointment for my home. I described the work I wanted, and he quoted me a price which was very reasonable. I agreed to have the work done. A couple of days later, the workmen came as agreed and started in the morning, worked all day and were done that evening. The plumbing work was done, the walls were patched, all work was clean and professional, and exceeded my expectations in every way, and I know from 20 years plumbing experience what I'm looking at. They used quality parts and materials, and were installed expertly and I am very happy with my decision to have Repipe Specialists do the work.

The workers were pleasant and a joy to have in my home. JA Plumbing in San Jose is who Repipe Specialists sent out and we could not be happier.

Their sales pitch was extremely smooth, but the actual work was hurried and shoddy. The dry wall guys did an especially poor job. They promised to patch the holes in the walls so it would completely blend in and we wouldn't be able to tell there was any work done.
