I have been to a Brazilian Steakhouse, in NC, this one was awesome compared to the one I have been too before. They had a huge variety of all kinds of food. It was all fresh and foods i have never tasted before. Honestly, I wanted to go back to San Deigo just to eat here again. The atmosphere was great and I would come back any time.

My husband and I just moved close to the gaslamp district a couple of weeks ago. Coming from Phoenix (with recent temporary stays in Texas, North Carolina and DC) we were at a loss about where to go for a decent steak dinner in our new home city. Some friends recommended Rei's and we were pleasantly surprised and will be coming back for more meals. The service was great and the food very tasty.

I guess Rei Do Gado is the best Brazilian steak house I've been to in San Diego, but the pool is limited. The food is average to above average for Brazilian steak houses in Southern California. The food does not compare to Brazilian steak houses in Brazil. If you've never been to a Brazilian steak house, it's worth giving this one a try.

We vacationed this last week in Downtown San Diego (Gas Lamp Square). The Concierge at our Hotel recommended Rei Do Gado and boy was it awesome! My wife and I had never eaten Brazilian food. The salad bar was perfect, the meats where so full of flavor and tender. The service and food was impeccable. The piano player was playing some light classical. The atmosphere was perfect!
