While pleased it has been restored, we were underwhelmed by recently re-opened Union Station in the heart of Denver's funky old town. Indeed the main waiting room is strikingly handsome, but it seems to be little more than a series of pubs w/ lots of people sitting around (on tasteless couches) with drinks in their hands. Staff at the Amtak train window are very helpful and the new track waiting area is beautiful. Still more finishing touches outside and one more restaurant.
