I went to the Red Star Tavern and, although it was overpriced, it had a great atmosphere for meeting and talking and socializing. It reminded me of a trendy ATL restaurant so I was very surprised it was closed. Each time I had driven by there it was packed.

Went to Red Star Tavern on Saturday Afternoon to watch the games. Great beer specials and half price appetizers. Friendly staff and the manager came by several times to check and make sure our visit was up to our expectations. It was so much more than we expected. Needless to say we will be back again and again

I've been to Red Star Tavern twice now, and have been disappointed both times. The first time, I had the meatloaf, and it was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. The second time, I went for lunch, and again it was horrible.
