Groups are basic and non-participatory. Very little actual therapy occurs; the counselors primarily "teach and preach." Other clients play loud music from 4 PM - 10 PM, so any sort of meditation or reflection is out of the question. They refused to give me my antidepressant medications for 9 days. I was so depressed, I tried to leave AMA, but they refused to let me leave with my medications that were prescribed by my doctor. They are holding me hostage through extortion so that they can keep billing my insurance. If you are reading this, I have been kidnapped. Please call the police.
