Our room had a nice private porch on the back overlooking the lake. It was peaceful and very beautiful\n\nNo everything about this hotel was great.

Beautiful hotel; comfortable beds; wood floors in room. We stayed in the renovated portion of the main building and were very pleased. Great old building with high ceilings, big staircase, etc. Helpful, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!\n\nInternet and television reception not the best -- but in Rangeley Maine, not surprising.
Very friendly staff, who were helpful in many aspects. Gave us directions to our desired destinations as well as accommodated us even though we didn't fit inside the criteria of their age policy. They read the law and decided to allow our stay.
