Dirty, smelly, out of date Motel

I wanted a nice hotel with a fitness center. Since The Hampton was booked I wanted to try Baymont. I thought it was a hotel only to find out it's a motel. My mistake, however, entering the room it smelled horrible, was extremely hot and the window unit was very loud. The room had dim lighting so it was hard to do my work and it was just creepy at night. Being a female on business I did not feel...

This is the place that my husband and I always stay when we visit the area, at least twice a year. Their beds are the most comfortable around. Normally the experience is a good one. However on this occasion it was different. I mistakenly reserved a handicap room. I take responsibility for this, yet I still hoped to correct it by exchanging it with one of the many available same priced rooms....

We booked a non-smoking room. It's clearly an older hotel competing with newer properties. The room smelled stale - not exactly of cigarette smoke, but as if it had not been freshened for a long time. Fortunately the old carpet had been replaced with laminate flooring or it would really have been bad. The pool was green - not that we wanted to use it anyway in the month of March! The coffee...
